"Converting" the Orthodox Serbs, December 21st, 1941, Friars, besides Priests, participated in forcible conversions. They were no less ruthless than the parish clergy, e.g. Monk Ambrozije Novak, Guardian of the Capucine Monastery in Varazdin, who, after surrounding the village of Mosanica with Ustashi contingents, told the people:
"You Serbs are condemned to death, and you can only escape that sentence by accepting Catholicism."
Catholic Padres did not hesitate to liquidate those who resisted. Witness Father Dr. Dragutin Kamber, a Jesuit priest and sworn Ustashi, who ordered the killing of 300 Orthodox Serbs in Doboj... Or Father Dr. Branimir Zupanic, who had more than 400 people killed in one village alone: Ragoje. Father Srecko Peric, of the Gorica Monastery, near Livno [Herzegovina], advocated mass murders with the following words: "Kill all Serbs. And when you finish come here, to Church, and I will confess you and free you from sin." This resulted in a massacre, on August 10th, 1941, during which over 5,600 Orthodox Serbs in the district of Livno alone lost their lives.

Battle of Kosovo
Field "Field of Blackbirds" from the eyes of American
Kosovo Field is a fairly flat plain between the Lab and
Sitnica Rivers in southern Serbia several miles northwest of the town of
Pristina (although the recently-declared "Republic of Kosovo" refuses
to recognize Serbian rule). Bordered on both sides by mountain ranges, the
plain was one of the main crossroads of the Balkans since ancient times, giving
many an invading army north-south access to the peninsula.
None of the Christian peoples has in its history what the
Serbian people have in Kosovo.
Some 60 years after the Battle of Kosovo, Constantinople
fell, the capital of Eastern Christianity. The Christian emperor, of Serbian
blood and origin by 1 of his parents, was killed. It could be said that that
disaster was like Kosovo. And it might also be said that it was an event even
greater than Kosovo. God forbid! In the field of Kosovo the Christian army
marched toward death, while in Constantinople they remained in the town hoping
to the last moment that death would somehow turn its back on them. When the
first cannonballs in history penetrated the city ramparts, terror ensued so
that both the army and the citizens were panic stricken. All the churches were
filled with crying and prayer to God for the salvation of the city, that is for
the salvation of their bodies and for the salvation of the state and the
earthly kingdom. That is why the Greeks recorded the fall of Constantinople as
night and not as day, as destruction and not as victory. It is true that it was
a battle between the cross and the crescent, but without an epopee and without
any inspiration for future generations.
For a defeat
understood only as defeat cannot arouse anybody's enthusiasm. Nor can Golgotha
itself without the Resurrection inspire and strengthen anybody.
The Serbian Kosovo is
a totally different matter.
As the dead are
dressed in new and expensive clothes, so was the Serbian army dressed in its
best robes. The glowing procession hurried from all the borders of the empire
onto honor and fame, to the field of Kosovo. Shaded with cross-shaped banners
and the icons of their family saints (slava), singing and cheering, singing and
playing musical instruments, with song and joy, the army rushed toward its
execution. Does not that remind us of the first groups of Christians who in
such a mood went under the sword or to the fire or before the beasts?
Not a single
Christian martyr is known to have prayed to God to save him from his
approaching death, while thousands and thousands are known to have prayed not
to be spared from a martyr's death. Neither did Lazar's army hold prayers for
salvation from death. On the contrary, it confessed its sins and took Communion
in preparation for death. An entire people as one Christian martyr, obedient to
the thoughtful will of the Almighty, accepted the bitterness of death, and that
not as bitterness but as a life-giving force.
And has not Kosovo
right up to the present day, indeed, served as a vital force to dozens of
generations?
In the history of the
Christian peoples there is not another case of 1 entire army, an entire nation
being imbued by the wish to die in order to meet death for the sake of its
religion. This was not to meet a suicidal but a heroic death. Kosovo is unique
in the 20 centuries old history of the Christian world. Those are mistaken who
say that Kosovo stopped the wheel of our history and held us back. If it had
not been for Kosovo, we would have been a great nation today! It was Kosovo
that made us a great nation. It is our Golgotha; but it is at the same time our
spiritual and moral resurrection.
Still, the holy body
of Lazar, imbued with Heavenly power, lies whole even today curing all human
disabilities. The bodies of the other knights of the cross were not lost,
although they remained on the battlefield. Their bodies were sanctified by
their holy souls, and the entire land of Kosovo was dedicated by their holy
bodies. Thenceforth Kosovo became the campo santo, the holy field.
That is why the
Serbs, even those living in America, come and take a handful or a bag of soil
from the holy field of Kosovo to carry it and keep it as a sacred relic in
their places of worship and their homes, as is done from the tomb of St.
Dimitrije in Salonika or the graves of other Christian martyrs. Kosovo is the
greatest tomb of Christian martyrs killed in a single day. No other of such
magnitude is known to us. And celebrating the deathday of their saint, the
whole Serbian people honor and commemorate St. Vitus' Day (Vidovdan). He who
honors the holy martyrs, such as the archdeacon Stefan or Djordje or Dimitrije
or Teodor or Trifun or Good Friday and Easter Sunday or Ss. Petar and Paul,
does not honor the defeated but the victor; neither does he honor the dead but
the living.
Therefore, by
celebrating the great martyrdom of the Kosovo martyrs, we do not celebrate the
defeated ones but the victors, not the dead but those who are alive. Vidovdan
is the greatest Slava of the Serbian people. It is day and not night - it is
the Day.

his life will lose it,

Most Americans are totally unaware of Nikola Tesla, the father of the radio and inventor of AC electrical current that lit up the 1893 Columbian Exposition at the World's Fair in Chicago.
Tesla's invention harnessed th...e power of Niagara Falls not only proved that he could generate electricity but he invented a way of storing that energy and the ability to transmit it over long distances...Tesla made the industrial revolution possible in the United States and the world. A statue of Tesla is on site at Niagara Falls. His inventions are at the heart of 21st century lifestyle luxury and his invention of radio guided vehicles made possible our exploration of space; the opening of your garage door and the ability to sit on your couch and change your T.V. channels. He invent the fluorescent light bulb, the Tesla coil that makes possible air conditioning and your kitchen dish washer and refrigerator, Neon lighting that graces our advertising and our cities and early development of X-Ray.
Tesla was born in Austro-Hungary...For 70 years CROATIA has insisted Tesla was a "native son" and publishers of text books have promoted the lie for 60 years....NOT TRUE...Tesla was the son of a Serbian Orthodox priest and he was born in Austro-Hungary, came to the United States 1884 to work with Thomas Edison before there was ever a nation of Croatia. Tesla died in 1943 in the midst of a legal battle with Marconi regarding his patent violation of the radio...The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Tesla's favor in 1943 after Tesla's death but the American education system and the text book publishers still promote the Marconi lie. Marconi was a corporate thief with vast sums of money and was able to utilize the media to his advantage. Croats who seem to suffer from a lack of genius in their population are not opposed to stealing the identity of others to feather their own nest, even if its a lie. They also make claims about German and Austrian composers as Croatia born.
Ten meters (32 feet) from the property of the Tesla family home that the Croatians bombed in 1995 is the Serbian Church in Smiljan. In the village cemetery there is one grave—not very big, but that grave attracts a lot of attention. In that grave are the 119 relatives of Nikola Tesla who were murdered in 1941 by the Ustashi...yes, the same Croat NAZIS WHO TODAY CLAIM TESLA AS THEIR NATIVE SON wanted to destroy his birth place and his father's church.... To this day the Croatian authorities will not allow the remaining Tesla family to put an Orthodox Christian Cross on the grave or to inscribe the tomb in the Cyrillic language of those who were murdered. This tomb is a monument under the jurisdiction of the Institute for Protection of Monuments. It makes a mockery of historical memorial sites.
Shall we remove the 40,000 names of killed American troops in Vietnam on the Wall in Washington in fear of offending Vietnamese? That is the mentality of today's reborn fascists in Croatia.
Why am I posting this? Because the Ustasha (Croat Nazis) who control this part of Croatia today, even though this was the ancestral homeland of the Orthodox Christian Serbs, they will still not allow them to put an Orthodox cross on this grave and to inscribe the gravestone with the names of the victims in their native language. Could this happen in the future in America? Yes, it very well could when the Politically Correct morons take over common sense and destroy equal human rights, freedom of speech and freedom to practice your faith.

Guarding American Interests in the Sunni-Shiite War
It is a failure to look back, look forward and look around. It is a failure to ask the truly existential questions, "What can the United States tolerate in the world – what MUST we tolerate because we are not prepared to stop it?" and the corollary, "What can the United States simply not afford – not now, not later, not ever – and how are we going to keep truly intolerable things from happening?"
Look back. American successes in alliances are enormously important. NATO changed the pattern of behavior of Europe as well as collapsing the Soviet empire, and South Korea and Japan are democratic powerhouses – but they required our long-term physical presence and political will even, and especially, when they were failing. What if the Russian-sponsored "Zero Option" to prevent the installations of U.S. Pershing Missiles in Europe had prevailed?
Our failures come when we assume others can and will stand without us. "Vietnamization" should have been a clue. But the United States has continued to arm and train other people's militaries in the hopes that they will do it our way without us.
The Palestinian army is a very expensive case In point. The U.S. provides nearly $115 million annually for security services, separate from "aid" to the Palestinian Authority [PA], in the hope that the PA military will a) cooperate with the Israel and b) fight Hamas. The first is not a steady proposition, and the new Palestinian unity government may preclude the second.
In Mali, we created an army, then pulled our political support from the government for its failure to meet "democratic norms". This refusal to be involved precipitated the Tuareg/al Qaeda war that, without French intervention would have given al Qaeda a base in a new part of Africa.
In Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Lebanon, Pakistan, and Yemen, we armed, trained and spent larger and smaller fortunes for general failure. The Gulf States, at least, paid for their own equipment. Egypt, thus far, has proven to be among our best returns, although the current U.S. Administration doesn't seem clear on the point.
Look around. Arming a rump opposition group in Syria and a) expecting it to have any impact on Assad's military and b) expecting it THEN to turn away the well-armed, well-trained, professional forces of ISIS was always a pipe dream. The U.S. did ship weapons to the opposition – from stores in Libya, and to our dismay, we are still finding out what was in some of those shipments. There are now reports that ISIS has Stinger anti-aircraft missiles. Pentagon sources simply say, "The U.S. provided no such missiles to Iraqi military forces." Well, maybe not, but they provided "such missiles" to the Libyan opposition.
Also, please notice who comes "home." British security authorities say "volunteers" returning from fighting in Syria can be arrested and have their passports confiscated – a start to limiting the damage they can do at home.
Look ahead. Stick with your friends, including friends in this hemisphere, and make life as difficult as possible for those who get in your way, including Russians, Chinese, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans. Or Saudis and Qataris. Put them on notice: the United States will not do everything – we cannot and do not want to – but we will protect our irreducible interests which are, in fact, quite narrow: a) the ability and will to punish egregious infractions of international norms, including the use of chemical weapons on civilian populations; and b) the utter unacceptability of nuclear weapons in the hands of radical Islamist factions.
The game-changer in the long religious war now wracking the region is the possible introduction of nuclear weapons by Iran. Conventional wisdom is that Iran wants nuclear weapons either to destroy Israel or to enhance its position as hegemon of the Persian Gulf to discomfit and oust the Americans. If conventional wisdom is right, Iran cannot be permitted to be a nuclear power. If conventional wisdom is wrong and Iran plans to use nuclear weapons, or threatens to, "only" to balance the "religious scales" (Shiites comprise only 11-12% of the world's Muslim population), Iran still cannot be permitted to be a nuclear power.
Either way, bottom line: no nuclear Iran. The U.S. retains a still-vast ability to meet its national defense priorities. The open questions are: the political skill to define them, and the will to ensure that that the greatest threat to regional and world stability -- Iranian nuclear capability - is stopped for good. The rapid (although not unpredicted) entry of radical Sunni jihadists into Mosul, Tikrit and other largely Sunni areas of Iraq, and their movement toward Baghdad, has prompted cries from left, right and center about the failure of U.S. policies in the region. And failure it is, although not of the "Bush should never have gone there," or "Obama should never have withdrawn from there," or – perhaps most oddly, "If Obama had only armed the 'moderate, secular opposition' in Syria, this never would have happened" sort.
- The United States can afford for Iraq not to be a "democracy." In fact, we can afford for no truly democratic Arab governments to emerge in the Middle East. It would be a shame for the millions of Arabs and Muslims who aspire to better, but the scrabble of dictatorships, religious and secular, emerging and falling, are a running pattern that is much older and better entrenched than is the constitutional form of government with which we are familiar.
- This should prompt a "reset" of U.S.-Egyptian relations. Sisi is doing no more than identifying the Muslim Brotherhood as an existential Islamist threat, like ISIS, and doing what dictators do to retain power; in this instance, power that has never threatened U.S. interests.
- The United States can afford a cutoff of Middle Eastern oil. In fact, if it resulted in the return of Qatar and Saudi Arabia to sand dunes, perhaps so much the better – given that they have been the source of much of the funding of Sunni jihadists, until the jihadist groups figured out how to steal large sums themselves (including perhaps $1.5 billion in Mosul). The oil cutoff would devastate some countries and inconvenience others, but the United States is in a position not only better to weather the storm, but to profit.
- It might also encourage those who rely on American naval power to ensure their supply of oil to consider the cost. Japan, South Korea and China import the majority of their oil through shipping lanes that we patrol on their behalf. China? Maybe they would like to build a pipeline to get that Iranian oil across Central Asia, through Uighur-controlled territory and on to their east coast.
- The United States can afford for Iran to be the leader of the Shiite side of the post-Mohammad-Islamic war in which Sunnis and Shiites have been engaged since the Battle of Siffin (657 CE) and which intensified after the Battle of Karbala (680 CE).
Look back. American successes in alliances are enormously important. NATO changed the pattern of behavior of Europe as well as collapsing the Soviet empire, and South Korea and Japan are democratic powerhouses – but they required our long-term physical presence and political will even, and especially, when they were failing. VFW CALLS FOR BOYCOTT UNTIL MEXICO RELEASES U.S. MARINE:
WASHINGTON (June 25, 2014) —
The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States is calling for a nationwide boycott of Mexican products and travel until Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi is released from a Mexican jail.
“This combat Marine has been languishing away since he was arrested March 31 for allegedly crossing the border accidentally with three personal firearms that were legally registered in the States but not in ...Mexico,” said VFW National Commander William A. Thien. “It was a mistake, but so is the Mexican government’s reluctance to release him unharmed back to the U.S.”
As America’s oldest and largest major combat veterans’ organization, the VFW wants to apply economic pressure to the Mexican government because Tahmooressi’s arrest and captivity is mirroring that of former Marine Jon Hammer, who was arrested for carrying an antique shotgun across the border in August 2012, despite having proper American paperwork. He wasn’t released until four months later.
Thien said the VFW tried the politically polite route by twice asking President Obama to contact Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, but a phone call specifically about the Marine sergeant never took place. Now that Tahmooressi is approaching his third full month in jail, the VFW national commander said it’s time to take the gloves off.
"This is about politics, and if my government won’t do anything, then I guess we need to let the power of the purse take over. No products, no travel, a total boycott … then maybe a dialogue will start.”

Christians in Mosul, Iraq, Pay “Protection” Tax
Since militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria Group (ISIS) seized control of the northern city of Mosul earlier this month, life for Christians in the city has predictably worsened. Salama al-Khafaji, a member of the UN High Commission for Human Rights in Iraq and a former member of the U.S.-backed Iraqi Governing Council, told the Arabic-language Alsumaria News that the ISIS occupation regime “is imposing on Christians a minimum payment of $250, with [the] amount varying depending on the type of work/profession performed by Christian citizens.”
The ISIS is also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
Al-Khafaji is a Shiite who does not want Iraq to become a theocracy. She was trained as a dentist and believes in giving women a role in Iraq’s government. Therefore, she has little use for the brand of Islamic militancy of ISIS. The Blaze quoted al-Khafaji’s statement to Alsumaria News, in which she expressed sympathy for the plight of Christians in Mosul:
The ISIS has imposed the “jizya,” which under Islamic law is a per capita tax levied on an Islamic state’s non-Muslim residents. In theory, non-Muslim subjects paying the jizya should be permitted to practice their faith, to enjoy a measure of communal autonomy, to be entitled to the Muslim state’s protection from outside aggression, and to be exempt from the zakat tax levied on Muslim citizens. However, any “protection” Christians in Mosul receive from the ISIS is likely to be more like the “protection” American gangsters used to provide to compliant store owners, than protection against any outside aggressors.
The jizya has been eliminated by legitimate governments throughout the Muslim world; however, the ISIS is not a government, but an Islamic militant group founded by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the former leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq.
On October 4, 2011, the U.S. State Department had listed al-Baghdadi as a “Specially Designated Global Terrorist” and offered a $10-million reward for information leading to his capture or death.
Al-Baghdadi moved to Syria after the beginning of that country's revolution against Bashar al-Assad, and in April 2013 announced the merger of his group with Syria’s Jabhat al Nusra, with himself still in overall command, under the new name of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
The situation of Christians in Mosul is but a small part of the hardship and outright persecutions that Iraqi Christians have suffered since the United States and its allies forcibly removed Saddam Hussein from power to enforce illegitimate UN “resolutions.”
In an opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal for April 16, Ron Prosor, Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, wrote about the fate of Christians in Iraq: “Terrorists deliberately target Christian worshippers. This past Christmas, 26 people were killed when a bomb ripped through a crowd of worshipers leaving a church in Baghdad's southern Dora neighborhood.”
The anti-Christian turmoil in Iraq since the ouster of Saddam Hussein over 10 years ago is reflected in the figures Prosor cited. He noted that during the past 10 years, nearly two-thirds of Iraq’s 1.5 million Christians have been forced to flee their homes because of the anti-Christian violence. Many emigrated to Syria, which like Iraq under Hussein, was tolerant of Christians. However, they are “once again becoming victims of unrelenting persecution. Syria’s Christian population has dropped from 30 percent in the 1920s to less than 10 percent today.”
An Iraqi-born priest, Father Michael Bazzi, who is now pastor of a Chaldean Catholic church in El Cajon, California, told CNA (the Catholic News Agency) on June 18:
Father Bazzi explained the dynamics in Iraq:
An article in the Catholic World Report on June 25 summarized Father Bazzi’s opinion on what the U.S. response to the situation in Iraq should be: “He doesn’t consider U.S. financial intervention a viable solution to the rapidly disintegrating situation in Iraq. He warned that U.S. intervention may instead foster sectarian divides between the Shia-backed government and the Sunni minority in the country.”
Some Christians fleeing from Mosul have sought refuge in Alqosh, some 30 miles to the north. A report from Al Jazeera noted that Alqosh has remained a safe haven for Christians because of the presence of armed forces of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) — known as the Peshmerga.
The report stated that The Kurdish Peshmerga (KRG) has been present in the area since 2003, but has recently expanded its reach by maintaining control of a key strategic area around Rabia, which includes a major border crossing between Iraq and Syria.
The KRG has also sent thousands of troops to stop any ISIS progress toward the Nineveh plains, around Mosul.
The Al Jazeera report noted:
Not all Christians have evacuated far from Mosul, however. A report in the Telegraph (U.K.) for June 21 stated that Christian militia members have entrenched themselves in the Christian settlement of Bartella, 10 miles from Mosul. The Telegraph interviewed a man identified as Captain Firaz Jacob, who, with a small band of 600 militia volunteers, were entrenched. Their militia was backed up by KRG troops sent from the city of Erbil, an hour’s drive away. “I stand here waiting for my destiny,” Jacob said.
When asked why he and his men were refusing to give up and go, Jacob said was determined to resist the ISIS jihadists and their allies, who had overrun most of the rest of northern Iraq. “We will stay here despite everything,” said Jacob. “All these armed groups we have seen, but nevertheless we will remain. We love our Christian way of life, we love our churches and we love our community.”
And so, the conflict between moderate Muslims and radical Islamic militants, between Kurds (who once fought the forces of Saddam Hussein) and the ISIS, with Christians usually caught in the middle, goes on. It was an impossible dream to think that U.S. intervention could have had any lasting effect on calming the turmoil in this troubled land, or that a renewed U.S. presence can achieve anything more.

Today, there is no future [for Christians in Iraq]. These people [militants], they hang, they behead people who don’t believe in their faith. Our village had 15,000 Catholics when I was there. Would you believe today there are how many: only 150 families.
Our church is in trouble today. As long as Iran exists, Shia exists. And they are the majority in Iraq. And as long as Saudi Arabia is there, and the Emirate, that means Sunni has to exist.... (But) those people go against each other because of their faith. And as Christians, we are always caught in the middle.
The deadly mix of the rise of ISIL and the ongoing sectarian war between Sunni armed groups and the Shia-dominated Iraqi army has generated unprecedented support for the Peshmerga among vulnerable religious minorities here out of pragmatic considerations.
Among the “vulnerable religious minorities” are Iraq’s Christians.
UN “Human Rights” Bureaucrats Demand Global “Law” for Detroit
Sensing an opportunity to boost their own image and illegitimate power, bureaucrats from the dictator-dominated United Nations “Human Rights” apparatus are attacking authorities in Detroit for threatening to cut off water services on seriously delinquent accounts — mostly to unoccupied buildings, according to authorities. In response, the global outfit is making wild demands while seeking to impose what it refers to as “international law” on the American people.
The widely ridiculed UN, dominated by Third World despots of various varieties who universally reject the notion of real rights as understood by Americans and the West, claimed that water services are a “human right.” As such, the world outfit’s self-styled “experts” on “human rights” demanded that authorities in Detroit continue offering services even to those who do not pay for them. If officials refuse, the UN claims city authorities’ actions would be a violation of what it styles global “law.”
The outlandish remarks from UN bureaucrats represent the acceleration of several troubling trends observed in recent years. Among them is the fact that the global outfit — often laughed off in America as an incompetent and corrupt “dictators club” — is increasingly seeking to impose its radical policy demands on the United States, American state governments, and even on local communities.
In recent years, for example, the would-be planetary government has openly and explicitly attacked the U.S. Constitution, state sovereignty, gun rights, parental rights, the American justice system, self-defense rights, the decisions of voters, and much more. The dangerous campaign to enforce the UN’s extremist vision on the free and independent people of America is gaining steam, too, with full collaboration from the rabidly pro-UN Obama administration.
Separately, the latest UN attack on American policies comes amid a concerted global campaign to redefine the very notion of rights. In the United States, as the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution make crystal clear, individual rights come from God and cannot be legitimately infringed upon by government. In fact, the Founders pointed out that whole purpose of government is to protect unalienable rights.
Under the UN’s vision, however, revocable privileges are granted by all-powerful governments. In its “Universal Declaration of Human Rights,” the UN even states its abhorrent position that what it inaccurately refers to as “rights” are “granted” by governments, not the Creator. The global entity also claims “rights” can be limited “by law,” and that no rights may be “exercised contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations.”
Rather than freedom from coercion — free speech, freedom of the press, the right to keep and bear arms, the right to be secure from unreasonable searches, and more — the UN admittedly views rights in totalitarian terms, such as the “right” to the fruits of others’ labor. Like communist and socialist dictators worldwide, the UN justifies its existence partly based on the dangerous notion that taxpayer-funded goods and services can be considered “rights” to be enforced by the coercive power of government.
The difference between the visions, of course, is crucial: Real rights are freedom from government coercion; UN “rights” require government coercion. For more evidence of the UN’s view of “human rights,” simply consider the brutal assortment of communist, socialist, Islamist, and mass-murdering tyrants on the UN “Human Rights Council.” Late last year, even the regimes ruling China, Cuba, Vietnam, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, and Russia were appointed to the council.
The whole “human rights” brouhaha against Detroit began when fringe activists in Michigan and Canada “reported” the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department to the UN. Last week, the far-left Council of Canadians’ Blue Planet Project, collaborating with local radicals, filed a “submission” with what the UN calls its “Special Rapporteur on the Human Right to Safe Drinking Water and Sanitation.”
According to the complaint, the bankrupt Big Government ruling over the ruins of Detroit has been cutting off water to accounts that are overdue by more than two months. There were more than a few false claims in the report, but the UN, which has exactly zero legitimate authority to meddle in America’s domestic affairs, decided to intervene anyway — in as loud a manner as possible.
In all, three self-styled UN “human rights experts” began issuing ludicrous demands. “Disconnection of water services because of failure to pay due to lack of means constitutes a violation of the human right to water and other international human rights,” the motley gaggle of UN “experts” complained to the world in a press release following various media interviews.
According to the UN screed, UN “human rights law” makes it the U.S. government’s “obligation” to “provide urgent measures, including financial assistance,” to ensure access to goods and services that the dictators’ club views as rights. “The households which suffered unjustified disconnections must be immediately reconnected,” the experts demanded in their public statement.
The collection of UN “human rights” bureaucrats includes “experts” focused on “water and sanitation,” “adequate housing,” and “extreme poverty.” Catarina de Albuquerque, the UN “Special Rapporteur on the Human Right to Safe Drinking Water and Sanitation,” was the most outspoken, even giving interviews with major media outlets claiming that the UN’s “international law” must govern the decisions of local governments in the United States.
“Disconnections due to non-payment are only permissible if it can be shown that the resident is able to pay but is not paying,” Albuquerque said in a UN press release, apparently under the misguided impression that her comical title confers authority over local government decisions in the United States. “In other words, when there is genuine inability to pay, human rights simply forbids disconnections.”
Albuquerque also pointed to her previous demands made after a 2011 “country mission” to the United States. After that visit, she brazenly demanded that the U.S. government violate the Constitution that created it by assuming vast new powers not delegated to it by the people or the states. In her latest statement, she also renewed her calls for the “federal Government” to take unconstitutional “action.”
“I encouraged the US Government to adopt a federal minimum standard on affordability for water and sanitation and a standard to provide protection against disconnections for vulnerable groups and people living in poverty,” she said, displaying either stunning hostility to, or dangerous ignorance of, America’s constitutional system of federalism and limited government. “I also urged the Government to ensure due process guarantees in relation to water disconnection.”
Of course, under America’s system of self-government, Washington, D.C., has no authority to adopt such policies. If the people of any state or community view such measures as a government responsibility, the appropriate venue to pursue them would be at the state legislature, county commission, or city council. As always, though, UN “experts” consistently demand that the federal government violate the Constitution to impose policies sought by the planetary outfit.
Another UN “human rights” apparatchik, Leilani Farha, who styles herself the UN “expert on the right to adequate housing,” even suggested — without evidence — that racism might be at work in Detroit. “If these water disconnections disproportionately affect African Americans they may be discriminatory, in violation of treaties the US has ratified,” she claimed in the press release.
In a statement, however, Water and Sewer authorities in Detroit debunked many of the allegations made by radical activists and the UN’s “experts” about the situation in the city. Of those who receive shut-off notices, only a small percentage of households actually have their water cut off, city officials said. Most of the properties losing water, it added, are “vacant structures, not occupied homes.”
“The DWSD is working closely with its customers in Detroit who are delinquent in their payments to prevent avoidable water shut offs,” it said. “The department currently has more than 17,000 Detroit customers enrolled into a successful payment plan program that is designed to fit each customer’s financial situation and ability to pay. Next month, the DWSD also plans to launch a new financial assistance program for the city’s indigent population."
Water department spokeswoman Curtrise Garner was quoted in media reports saying water bills need to be paid, noting that oftentimes, once services are shut off, “the next day they are in paying the bill in full.” A study by the Cato Institute, meanwhile, revealed that state and federal welfare benefits in Michigan pay $28,872 per year — making claims that water bills are unaffordable or that more welfare is required sound rather implausible, if not ridiculous.
The UN and its oftentimes barbaric member regimes are hardly known for their honesty or commitment to actual human rights. If it is true that poor people in Detroit are suffering from water cut-offs due to poverty, though, that is an issue for Americans and especially the local community. Churches, charities, neighbors, families, city officials, and locals must take responsibility — certainly not the UN or the Obama administration.
Rather than funding dictator-appointed “human rights” experts to attack the United States and its system of government while seeking to re-define the very concept of rights, the U.S. government should withdraw from the disgraced global body entirely. A bill already introduced in Congress by Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.) and eight co-sponsors, H.R. 75, the American Sovereignty Restoration Act, would do exactly that. At the very least, lawmakers in the GOP-controlled House should cut all funding to the outfit on the road to a full withdrawal.

Political Correctness
Gone Wild with Norm
Where does all this stuff that you’ve heard about this
morning – the victim feminism, the gay rights movement, the invented
statistics, the rewritten history, the lies, the demands, all the rest of it –
where does it come from? For the first time in our history, Americans have to
be fearful of what they say, of what they write, and of what they think. They
have to be afraid of using the wrong word, a word denounced as offensive or
insensitive, or racist, sexist, or homophobic.
We have seen other countries, particularly in this century,
where this has been the case. And we have always regarded them with a mixture
of pity, and to be truthful, some amusement, because it has struck us as so
strange that people would allow a situation to develop where they would be
afraid of what words they used. But we now have this situation in this country.
We have it primarily on college campuses, but it is spreading throughout the
whole society. Were does it come from? What is it?
What Is Political Correctness?
Political Correctness
(PC) is the communal tyranny that erupted in the 1980s. It was a spontaneous
declaration that particular ideas, expressions and behaviour, which were then
legal, should be forbidden by law, and people who transgressed should be
punished. (see Newspeak) It started with a few voices but grew in popularity
until it became unwritten and written law within the community. With those who
were publicly declared as being not politically correct becoming the object of
persecution by the mob, if not prosecution by the state.
The Odious Nature Of Political Correctness
To attempt to point
out the odious nature of Political Correctness is to restate the crucial
importance of plain speaking, freedom of choice and freedom of speech; these
are the community's safe-guards against the imposition of tyranny, indeed their
absence is tyranny (see "On Liberty", Chapter II, by J.S. Mill).
Which is why any such restrictions on expression such as those invoked by the
laws of libel, slander and public decency, are grave matters to be decided by
common law methodology; not by the dictates of the mob.
Clear Inspiration For Political Correctness
The declared rational
of this tyranny is to prevent people being offended; to compel everyone to
avoid using words or behaviour that may upset homosexuals, women, non-whites,
the crippled, the stupid, the fat or the ugly. This reveals not only its
absurdity but its inspiration. The set of values that are detested are those
held by the previous generation (those who fought the Second World War), which
is why the terms niggers, coons, dagos, wogs, poofs, spastics and sheilas, have
become heresy, for, in an act of infantile rebellion, their subject have become
revered by the new generation. Political Correctness is merely the resentment
of spoilt children directed against their parent's values.
The Origins Of Political Correctness
A community declines
when the majority of its citizens become selfish, and under this influence it
slowly dismantles all the restraints upon self-indulgence established by
manners, customs, beliefs and law: tradition. (See the law of reverse
civilization) As each subsequent generation of selfish citizens inherits
control of the community, it takes its opportunity to abandon more of the
irksome restraints that genius and wisdom had installed. The proponents of this
social demolition achieve their irrational purpose by publicly embracing
absurdity through slogans while vilifying any who do not support their stance.
The purpose of the slogan is to enshrine irrational fears, or fancies, as truth
through the use of presumptuous words, so public pronouncement:
•Dissembles the real nature of the claim
•Identifies any dissenters as enemies of the truth
•Acts as an excuse for any crimes committed in its name
We call it “Political Correctness.” The name originated as
something of a joke, literally in a comic strip, and we tend still to think of
it as only half-serious. In fact, it’s deadly serious. It is the great disease
of our century, the disease that has left tens of millions of people dead in
Europe, in Russia, in China, indeed around the world. It is the disease of
ideology. PC is not funny. PC is deadly serious.
If we look at it analytically, if we look at it
historically, we quickly find out exactly what it is. Political Correctness is
cultural Marxism. It is Marxism translated from economic into cultural terms.
It is an effort that goes back not to the 1960s and the hippies and the peace
movement, but back to World War I. If we compare the basic tenets of Political
Correctness with classical Marxism the parallels are very obvious.
First of all, both are totalitarian ideologies. The
totalitarian nature of Political Correctness is revealed nowhere more clearly
than on college campuses, many of which at this point are small ivy covered
North Koreas, where the student or faculty member who dares to cross any of the
lines set up by the gender feminist or the homosexual-rights activists, or the
local black or Hispanic group, or any of the other sainted “victims” groups
that PC revolves around, quickly find themselves in judicial trouble. Within
the small legal system of the college, they face formal charges – some
star-chamber proceeding – and punishment. That is a little look into the future
that Political Correctness intends for the nation as a whole.

FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO PLACE THE
DESTRUCTION OF YUGOSLAVIA ON THE SERBS
DESTRUCTION OF YUGOSLAVIA ON THE SERBS
In 1991 before the war broke out in Croatia a dozen Serbian churches were blown up...the Church of St. Spiridon in Peterinja, Church of St. George in Marinci, St Geor...ge in Gornji, among them...at the same time 8 businesses in Zagreb were blown up but what most Croats wish to gloss over, or worse, sweep under the nearest rug. The media simply ignored the fact that Ante Markovic, the Croatian Prime Minister of Yugoslavia was the man who ordered Serbian troops to attack Croatia. Markovic then fled to Croatia knowing full well he had opened Pandora's Box on Balkan violence. This is the same media who promoted Serb aggression on their own territory and made claimed of Serb domination when the Serbs ranked in 4th place of all government and ambassadorships in former Yugoslavia in spite of the fact that the Serbs were the majority of the population. Markovic was a mere example of ethnic representation as Bosnian Muslims, Slovenes, Montenegrians, Macedonians, and Croatians held high ranking positions in Yugoslavia. Albanians who represented less than 10% of the population also held major positions. The "domination" lie was a ruse used by the media and the various ethnic minorities who wanted their own country. How for instance can 650,000 Montenegrins have their own country with the costs of running a government without massive foreign debt?
In February, 1991, anti-Serb text appeared in local papers and anti-Serb statements began to be heard every day on local radio in towns of Western Slavonia. During 1991 a number of posters appeared and lists of "unwanted" ethnic Serbs, alleged "enemies of Croatia." The largest list of "enemies" was published by the Croatians in Duravar it contained the names of 35 Serbian settlements and a list of over 6,521 names. Liquidations began within weeks of those lists being posted.
The number in front of the name is an example of where they appeared on that poster list. (1) Ilija Sasis, ((20 Veljko Vukelic, (4) Nikola Dopudja, (9) Radovan Buldalic, (24) Milan Stulic, (36) Milan Dejanovic, (56) Dragoljub Ljubcic, (83) Bosko Momcilovic, (110) Milenko Stefanovic, (212) Jovan Grkinic, (329 Vlado Stepanovic...over 6,480 additional names appeared on this list...93% were killed within a year of the list being posted.
October 29, 1991, Croatian radio gave the Serbs "48 hours to leave their homes with the barest of necessities." The Croats called it a "Depopulation Plan." A hideous term considering Serbs were the first to be accused of "Ethnic Cleansing." What followed on November 2nd and November 3rd (All Saint's Day and All Souls Day) was the mass destruction of over 250 villages in which 58,000 Serbs were "cleansed", 10,000 Serbian homes went up in smoke and in the end 96 Serbian churches were destroyed. A few of the villages razed include: Bastajski Brdjani, Batinjska Rijeka, Donje Cjepidlake, Dobra Duca, Kip, Mila Klisa, Pakrani Potocanim Removac...
This level of civilian destruction followed by the total ethnic cleansing of 230,000 Serbs from the Krajina in 1995 is Genocide by every definition but not a single Croat has been brought to justice for these war crimes.
Why my passion on this issue? Because I am a double victim of Croatian Genocide. In 1942 in the village of Vojnic, Croatia where my father was born, 99 Serbs were called to their church to be converted to Catholicism. The church was locked from the outside and burned to the ground...17 of those victims were my relatives. In 1995 when 230,000 Serbs were ethnically cleansed from Croatia the last 5 relatives of my name were too old and too sick to flee...The Red Cross notified me a month later they were found with their throats slit. The images below show the massive ethnic cleansing of 230,000 Serbs from Croatia in 1995 and the ruins of the church where my relatives were murdered that President Franjo Tudjman bulldozed in 1995 to erase this hideous massacre from Croatian history.

From a Republic to a Parliament By Roger Mundy Part One:
The
Convention of States
When I
learned there was a new push for a Constitutional Convention – a con-con, I was
not surprised. Many of us involved in defeating the last big push twenty years
ago had been expecting it. We new our victory had only been defensive and had
left “the powers that be” to try again. But I was surprised for a moment when I
learned it was called “The Convention of States” because the earlier attempt
called “The Conference of States” had the same acronym – COS. The question
occurred to me, could this be a second attempt not only to get a con-con, but
an attempt to get the specific changes they failed to get with the first COS.
Those who orchestrate such attempts have often cryptically announced what they
are actually doing.
My
suspicions increased to a near certainty when I learned that the new COS is “a
project of Citizens for Self Governance” – CSG, because the earlier COS was “a
project of the Council of State Governments” – an earlier CSG. I never would
have come to this perception if not for the battle I was engaged in against the
first COS twenty years ago, and observing the strange doings of the powers
behind the scenes during that time.
To confirm
my suspicions I began to compare the two COS efforts for similarities and
differences. Particularly striking is the involvement of former Gov. Michael
Leavitt in the new COS, who was the head of the earlier COS. The same
justification of federal abuses is being used again, and again the same kind of
money trail, one paved with support from deep corporate pockets leads to both.
There are other similarities but what is most revealing are the differences.
When the two
COS efforts are seen ast just two different sales approaches, the differences
are just cosmetic and do not suggest any difference in substance. After the
defeat of COS-I I remember thinking “Next time they will try through the
people.” This is what the new COS actually claims to be doing. Its promotional
material claims they are organizing a “grass roots” movement, but this new
effort is top down and centrally pre-planned – the opposite of the bottom up,
spontaneous nature of real grass roots movements.
All con-con
efforts attempt to gain state support because only the states can convene a
con-con. The first COS concentrated upon the state legislatures through the
Council of State Governments, the first CSG. The second COS seeks to put
pressure on the states to call for a con-con by the appearance of popular
demand through the Citizens for Self Governance, the second CSG. The two
efforts are not meant to be associated in the public mind, which is a
reasonable expectation as most are totally unaware of the first effort. For
those who know of COS I and COS II, the two are meant to appear to be
unrelated. The first COS denied it was attempting to get a con-con but promoted
specific amendments it hoped to attain to state legislators. The second COS
admits it is trying to get a con-con, but does not admit to having any specific
amendments as it goal. Constitutional conventions are just means to an end. The
very idea that those behind both COS efforts would expend such time, effort and
money without a very specific agenda to get a specific goal is absurd. In the
case of both COS efforts the specific means is a con-con, and the specific end
must be very specific amendments to create very specific changes to the
Constitution.
The first
COS effort failed because a true grass roots movement revealed to enough state
legislators that it could become a con-con. But this is not because they feared
a con-con, they believe they have power over who is sent to a con-con, and they
will decide whether to ratify its proposed amendments. The first COS effort
failed because it lost the trust of state legislators. Promoters of COS I had
denied it was intended to be a con-con, and it failed despite the fact that
these legislatures favored the amendments that were the centerpiece of COS I.
They believed that these amendments would bolster their powers against federal
abuses. They did not see that the opposite would be the effect.
The second
COS could fail because it loses the trust of its customers like the first
effort failed. The overall sales campaign of COS II is to create the perception
of public support, whether real or imaginary. It could lose the trust of its
own voluntary “grass roots” members. But this would not necessarily cause it to
fail. If state legislatures believe there is broad enough public support for
COS II, and possibly even if they may know it to be an illusion but could
justify themselves by claiming broad public support, COS II may succeed. The
states are more desperate now that twenty years ago, and they still hold the
belief they had of their powers over con-cons. Many legislators sincerely
believe there is no other way to gain relief for the states and the people.
If the COS
II sales campaign succeeds in creating the perception of broad public support,
it will likely succeed in getting its con-con. If it succeeds in getting its
con-con, the specific amendments that have been the true objective of the overall
COS effort are very likely to be ratified. Once ratified, the effects will end
the greatest powers of the states replacing it with a Constitutionally
sanctioned parlimentary system and the people will see the republic replaced
with a Constitutionally sanctioned democracy. The last vestiges that made
America constitutionally distinct will be brought into conformity with the
parlimentary democracies that now predominate in most of the world. This
uniformity will ease the task of directly imposing international law upon the
states and the people, and will make the merger of America into the “new world
order” actually constitutional.
It is only
just that all parties be fully informed in every agreement, especially in
lawfully binding agreements, and none more so than something so fundamental and
powerful as con-cons. The lawyers that led the first COS effort, just as those
who lead the current one, as well as those who planned its strategies and its
amendments are all guilty of great deceptions. Highly polished practitioners of
the art of rhetoric, their statements are “technically” true, but very
misleadingly incomplete. This technique of manipulation by omission has left
both the states and the people in a confusing state of half-truths, and can
explain why neither of them understand some very fundamental things that are
necessary to see what the entire COS effort is actually attempting.
Some
Fundamental Principles
The American
people and their state legislators are ignorant of what their counterparts knew
and often took for granted 200 years ago. This is due to the deliberate
omission of these principles. Since the COS effort is our focus, it is vital to
understand the ones given here.
Suffrage
Suffrage has
come to mean election or the vote, but the vote is only one of three
fundamental suffrage rights, and is the least of them. As far as elections go
the vote determines who is chosen for office. Far more important is what that
person does. The second suffrage right is called “instruction”. The suffrage
right of “instruction” did not mean the
educating of the representative in office. It meant the right of a constituency
to give authoritative commands to them because the office they are in is in the
name and ownership of the constituency, and the office holder can act only
under their authority. This is an amazingly simple and powerful suffrage right,
but somehow none of the law dictionaries even have an entry for “instruction”,
although it is unavoidably mentioned under other headings for example in
Black’s Law Dictionary, under “authority” and under “limited authority”, when
an agent is bound by precise instructions. The third fundamental suffrage right
is called “recall”. This is the enforcement of the other two, but especially
instruction. Of the three suffrage rights, instruction is the one most omitted,
because nothing threatens the rule by elites more than the people or the states
being able to take command of what an office holder does at any time, and to
hold the office holder responsible if such instructions are disobeyed.
Republic
Republics
are those in which the people have full suffrage rights. Those that believed
elitest rule is the best or most stable or wisest have long obfuscated this
principle for example, by condemming pure republics and advocating “mixed
forms” of government. But it can easily and accurately be said that unless all
three suffrage rights exist, then the form of government isn’t a republic at
all.
Democracy
Democracies
were invented as a replacement for republics. They consist of forms of
government that have removed or denied part of the suffrage rights. Democracies
omit the right of instruction and sometimes recall. Democracies have come to be
identified with the vote. Ideally to the elitist within a democracy is the
illusion of power it creates for the voters, who often blame themselves for
having voted such scoundrels into power. This belief is due to their ignorance
of the suffrage rights.
Parliament
Parliments
are “mixed forms” of government which are partially democracies and partially
elitist. What American’s came to think a parlimentary form was 200 years ago
was based upon what England had at the time – a hereditary monarch, and an
aristocratic House of Lords, and a democratic House of Commons. A parlimentary
form of government is based in part on the authority of the people, who
delegate all of their authority to their representatives as a kind of
pre-authorization of whatever that government may do.
The various
levels of government in America function as if they were some version of
democratic parliament. What neither the people nor the states are aware of is
there is a long unused but fully constitutional power within the constitution,
and the constitutions of many states, that could end all federal abuses and the
ongoing elitist rule. This power is centered on the suffrage rights and
especially the right of instruction.
State
Suffrage
This is the
only constitutional provision that cannot be amended, making it the most
powerful and important provision in the Constitution, especially for the
states. No other provision is so hated by all that would destroy the states and
centralize power and no other provision has been so deliberately pushed “down
the memory hole”. It is found in the final clause of article V – the amending
article, because only it cannot be amended.
Notably,
Constitutional lawyer and head of COS II, Michael Farris, who is very
knowledgable about the Constitution and its history is a sterling example of
manipulation by omission, or half-truths. He states “article V is the
solution”; “the correct path can be found in article V” – which is true. Then
he then omits State “Suffrage in the Senate”, which is that very power. He only
addresses the amending processes in the rest of Article V as if the final
clause did not exist.
Three
“Process” Amendments
The entire
COS effort is based on half-truths, and depends upon the ignorance produced by
this over the years. Because COS I was omitting that it was meant to become a
con-con it had to reveal the three process amendments as examples of what COS I
would accomplish. These are the most specific measures we have of the entire
COS effort. It is the effects of these kinds of measures that point to the real
goal of the COS effort. Above all else this goal is omitted in both COS I and
COS II.
The three
amendments all target the state suffrage rights, and are designed to appeal to
state legislatures. Rather than quote them here, I will try to explain them.
1) 10th
Amendment litigation – The 10th Amendment is what was most demanded to be added
to the Constitution by the states. It is the strongest limitation on federal
power in the Constitution. It was meant to preserve all the powers that the states
had previously under the Articles of Confederation, except those denied by the
Constitution or delegated to the federal government. In the world of
half-truths, the ignorant state legislatures kept trying to sue the federal
government in federal court for treading on their powers. The Supreme Court
often refused to hear these suits, or if it did would tell them to rely on “the
political process” instead of the Courts. This frustrated the ignorant states.
The COS amendment to the 10th Amendment would mandate the Federal Courts hear
these cases. The effect would be the federal government deciding whether itself
was in violation of the 10th Amendment. This would end the 10th Amendment.
Completely unknown to the state legislatures and almost every one else, is the
fact that one of the 10th Amendment rights of the states is the suffrage right
of recall.
The other
two “process amendments” are both targeted at the state suffrage right of
instruction.
2) States
Initiative – Three quarters of the states could amend the constitution unless
congress vetoed these amendments.
3) States
Veto – Three quarters of the states could repeal federal laws and regulations
unless congress vetoed it.
These two
are based on the ignorance of state legislatures of their own state suffrage
right of instruction, which is specifically over their two senators in
Congress. It is so great that they could paralyze the federal government if
necessary to get amendments proposed or end bad laws and regulations etc. And
it does not risk the unpredictable results of a con-con. These two amendments
are not only unnecessary, but coupled with the other one could totally subvert
state suffrage rights without amending them. This would finally accomplish what
the direct election of U.S. senators began – the end of state suffrage rights.
States could no longer function except as an agency of the federal government,
and the federal government would no longer be federal. Coupled with the false
belief that “suffrage” means only election, what would be left would be a
parlimentary democracy and “the republic” would end – and it would be
“constitutional”.
The history
of the effort to institute parlimentary democracy finds its beginnings in the
con-con that drafted the constitution, and is addressed in part two.
The Great Deception:
The Hundred Flowers Campaign, occurred in 1956 when the Communist Party of China (CPC) encouraged its citizens to openly criticize the Communist regime. This was led and encouraged by Communist Party Chairman Mao Zedo...ng:
The name of the movement originated in a poem: Simplified Chinese:
"Let a hundred flowers bloom; let a hundred schools of thought contend."
Hesitating, because of past experience, the movement started very slowly as the Chinese people were worried of repercussions. ( I wonder why?)
Mao made many appearances promoting his new open idea.
Saying:
"Our society cannot back down, it could only progress... criticism of the bureaucracy is pushing the government towards the better."
Mao saw this as a chance to cement Socialism.
He had a plan,
It was a diabolical plan and the Chinese people would again pay for their willingness to trust Mao.
So, after all the promises, The Hundred Flowers movement began quickly gaining momentum in May 1957. Criticism of Marxist-Leninist ideology and the Party's corrupt role with Socialist policies often took center stage. (of course)
Students ,on college campuses, published posters denouncing Socialism and Mao.
On June 2nd an anonymous author hung a wall poster at Qinghua University,
it read:
“We have given our blood, sweat, toil and precious lives to defend not the people but the bureaucratic organs and bureaucrats who oppress the people and live off the fat of the land. They are a group of fascists who employ foul means, twist the truth, band together in evil adventure, and ignore the people's wish for peace both at home and abroad ... In Yan'an was Chairman Mao, who had two dishes plus soup for every meal, having a hard time? Were the peasants, who had nothing to eat but bitter vegetables, enjoying the good life? Everyone was told that Chairman Mao was leading a hard and simple life. That son of a bitch! A million shames on him! ... Our pens can never defeat Mao Zedong's Party guards and his imperial army. When he wants to kill you, he doesn't have to do it himself. He can mobilize your wife and children to denounce you and then kill you with their own hands! Is this a rational society? This is class struggle, Mao Zedong style!”
Students at Peking University created a "Democratic Wall" .
Their posters stated:
"intellectuals are virtually being tortured while living in a communist society,"
"There is a total lack of freedom if the CPC is to continue on ruling the country,"
By early July 1957, the campaign had become too difficult to control, and Mao had reached his limit !
He angrily said his real reason for the Hundred Flowers Campaign was to:
"enticed the snakes out of their caves."
Mao now had what he wanted.
(You just gotta love these Socialists!)
(This would be seen again, in Chinese history, where free thought is promoted by the government, and then suppressed by it. A similar movement would again appear in the late 1980s and lead to the Tiananmen Square Massacre of 1989)
Now a new and true campaign would begin !
The “Anti-Rightist Campaign” replaced the “Hundred Flowers Campaign.”Mao, ruthlessly targeted people that, he thought, favored capitalism , were critical the regime and its Socialist ideology. Those who had dared open their mouths against Mao’s Socialism were condemned to prison labor camps, tortured or killed.
The Anti-Rightist Campaign lasted from 1957 to 1959, was instigated by Chairman Mao, enthusiastically supported by future leader Deng Xiaoping, and would again brought forth political persecutions and the deaths of an estimated :
1.5 million innocent people.
Oh, and this was just a warm-up, because, in a just few months Mao would institute another campaign.
“The Socialist Education Campaign” , better known as :
“The Great Leap Forward.”
Where his Socialist ideology would cost the innocent Chinese people:
45 million dead, in only 4 years !
You can NOT trust Socialists / Communists.
They gain power distorting history and promising utopia.
It’s a lie !
Look at history.
It’s already happened before, many times.

June 25, 1876 - Isaiah Dorman, a formerly enslaved interpreter, was killed at the Battle of Little Bighorn. Not much is known of Dorman’s early life although records suggest that he was born enslaved in the 1840s. In 1...865, he was hired to carry the mail on a 360 mile roundtrip between Forts Rice and Wadsworth. It was reported that he did this on foot for about two years. In 1871, he served as a guide and interpreter for a party of engineers making the Northern Pacific Railroad Survey. In 1876, Dorman was hired by General George Armstrong Custer as an interpreter for his expedition to the Little Bighorn country. On this date, he accompanied a detachment into battle and was killed, the only black man killed in the fight. His body was recovered after the fight and eventually interred in the Little Bighorn National Cemetery. The spot where Dorman was killed is commemorated with a marble marker

The image in this article shows the thousands of bones and skulls from this hideous war crime....the stacks of recovered bones in the background reveal the depth of this war crime...certainly not "a few dozen victims" as claimed by Croatians over the past several decades. However, scientists at Belgrade University said the average age of these victims was 8 to 15 years of age indicating that the region was cleansed of mostly women and children.
ABC Nightline did a story on Medjugorje related to the alleged nightly apparition of the Virgin Mary who is only "visible" to 5 Croatian children...A Croatian priest interviewed by Nightline called the vision: "The Madonna of Financial Reward" and for good reason, the hillsides that surrounded Medjugorje were for years a Croatian slum where today million dollar houses are now seen with a new Mercedes Benz in many driveways. The millions of tourists each year have obviously filled many pockets as Swastika memorabilia can be purchased throughout the ares. The Virgin business has generated a billion dollar business. A very close and dear Catholic friend spent her hard earned retirement money to go to Medjugorje and returned to tell me that she was embarrassed to say she was a Catholic. She said the circus atmosphere that surround this village church and the hillside in which the apparition is suppose to be seen by these young adults was appallingly stage managed.
One of the girls who sees the apparition that comes every evening at 4:00 p.m. became pregnant with the father being one of the local priests...Perhaps the Virgin Mary told them to have unprotected immoral sinful sex?
The Vatican has not recognized the Medjugorje miracle but millions of dumbed- down Catholics believe this tale for fools who are eager to have these croats relieve them of their money.
