Merry Christmas: UN
Declares Arms Trade Treaty to Go Into Effect Dec. 24
Obama will probably want to recognize (and enforce) this
treaty whether the US signed it or not.
This is not good news. I suggest you all take a break, take
a deep breath, exhale slowly and click on the link below. The article is excellently written, easily
understood and should be taken seriously.
Very seriously, because your life, as it is today, depends upon it. There have been many efforts in the past,
beginning in 1976, to open a Constitutional Convention in order to get rid of
our Bill of Rights. The 2nd, 9th and 10th
Articles of Amendment have kept the hoards at bay – somewhat anyway.
There’s a new drive out now – they’re calling it a
Convention of States (COS); lying to uninformed thousands of people who are
helping by contacting their states’ legislators, urging them to pass
resolutions to attend this Convention. They claim it’s to add an amendment to
the Constitution to force the government to stop spending money over their
budget. Uninformed, sincere and caring people who believe the cause are working
hard to “help”, not realizing what they’re doing.
In ‘95 they called it a Conference of States (COS) and
intended to hold it in “historical Philadelphia” where the first Conference of
State assembled in 1787 to allegedly “amend the Articles of Confederation”.
They were so sure they had it in the bag that, according to a Canadian newspaper,
Margaret Thatcher was going to be “out of the country” to attend an important
convention in Philadelphia. It was discovered later that Thatcher’s secretary
was on the board of this very dangerous folly. Coincidently (not) the
Conference was to be held in October, on the 50th birthday of the United
Nations.
(Most of you who actually read my posts have heard this
before. Stay with me here, please!) To repeat what we’ve shared before: that
first COS was a setup. In 1787 the founders had convinced the people a
Conference of States should be held for the purpose of "making some
changes" in the Articles of Confederation. The delegates to the Conference
in Philadelphia were under strict instructions from their respective states and
the Congress to meet ‘for the sole and express purpose’ of revising the
Articles of Confederation. They did much more than that. They assembled as delegates, formed a
committee-of the-whole, took a vote and totally threw out the Articles of
Confederation. Why? Because the states had all the power, and the
World Policy Makers couldn’t do their dirty work as they do today. If you read
the Constitution you notice that it wasn’t about the states at all; it was a
blueprint for a Centralized Government.
The only thing that saved our bacon to this point is the Bill of Rights.
By the way, those three amendments I mentioned, in case you
didn’t know: The 2nd is our right to keep and bear arms. The 9th and 10th emphasized the powers of the
states.
The World Policy Makers are getting antsy. They intended to have the whole world in
their hands by 1984, as per the book by that name: “1984”. They almost did. By 1983, thirty-two of the
thirty-four states required to call a Constitutional Convention had already
applied. We, who were frolicking in our American Dream, had no idea how close
we came to losing it all. As Heaven would have it, there were people awake in
1983. Wide awake! A man who is an unsung
hero entered the scene; spent the rest of his life as a general so to speak,
stopping any further attempts and urging states’ legislatures to rescind their
call. There were many who gave much to
the effort. Three states did rescind their call for the Con-Con which gave time
for more people to awaken. Doug Kelley
is his name. He rests in peace now. . . maybe.
If you want to know more about the history of this attempt
to open a Constitutional Convention, after you read the article, here’s a link
to get you there:
The article you’ll be reading, below, will chill your
bones. Hopefully awaken some to be – at
least – concerned enough to share the information with your family, friends and
anyone who’ll listen. The most important
part of it is a truth that we must hold tightly, and if necessary, contact our
own state legislators to inform them.
Here’s the statement made, and I’ll stop here so you can read the entire
article. Sending this with prayers, faith and love. – Jackie
“While that is the process that the Constitution establishes
for the implementation of treaties, fundamental principles of construction and
constitutional law dictate that no treaty that violates the Constitution can
become the supreme law of the land. In the case of the UN’s Arms Trade Treaty,
there is no doubt that regardless of presidential signatures or congressional
consent, this treaty cannot pass constitutional muster and therefore will never
be the valid law of the land.
Unless, of course, Americans once again acquiesce to
President Obama’s assumption of illegal authority and relinquish their rights
and weapons regardless of the reasons they should not do so.”
