Can you please tell me Why America is involve in Ukraine? What do we have to gain?

This is what William Dorich said: A closer location to Russia's interior in order to place our NATO weapons. Divide and Conquer? This has nothing to do with human rights or "sovereignty"...we learned that ...lesson about Yugoslav sovereignty where the US and NATO amputated Yugoslavia and we now have 5 countries. No one in our State Department was concerned about Serbian rights when they were the majority of the population of Yugoslavia. The U.S. is clearly supporting Fascists in the Ukraine. We would rather support Nazis then support the true wishes of the Russian people who are being killed for their Orthodox Christian faith by the Catholic Nazi fanatics....nothing has changed since WWII. We constantly hear the word "separatists" thrown around in the media and by our president...but we secretly armed and trained Croatian "Separatists" in 1991, Bosnian Muslim "Separatists" in 1992 and Kosovo Albanian "Separatists" in 1999 including becoming their air force. We exposed the duplicity of our foreign politics and the cesspool of contempt we actually have for democratic ideas as we clearly denied those rights to the Serbian people and continue to treat them with collective guilt..
John Bosnitch Unfortunately, most Americans can no longer use the term "we" when discussing the "gain" that might result from actions taken by Washington. It is now more clear than ever before that while provoking perpetual wars around the world does make profits for the US corporate military-industrial complex, it deeply hurts the interests of the American people, who generally want peace, jobs and happiness.
