The church must combat the enemy …
Christians
in the West should stand up for those in the East out of regard for all they
have given us over these thousands of years
When was the
last time Christians were persecuted for believing in Christ? When the Roman’s
killed them for converting to Christianity and torture then in Roman Arena’s, Peter
was crucified upside down by Emperor Nero. A lot of Christians have been killed for
simply believing in Jesus Christ?
Christians
taking up arms in Iraq stands in stark contrast to the passive victim profile
they have been known for since 2003 and are likely to make them more of a
target. Sarkis, however, isn’t worried as he believes embracing a fighting life
is much better than accepting a passive death. “We’re being killed in our
homes, so why not defend ourselves? Then even if we die, we die with dignity,”
he said. “We didn’t want to reach this point — we just want to live in our
areas.”

Indonesia Warns: Radicals Inspired by ISIS to Establish a Caliphate in Asia
Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim
nation, is becoming “one of the main centers of Islamic activism in the Asia-Pacific
region,” according to Asia News. Islamic extremism has been rising with a
decline in religious pluralism in the country. Moreover, fundamentalist
movements have found “inspiration in the exploits of Sunni fighters in Syria
and Iraq.” The Indonesian government warned that the rising radicalism may take
