WOW! 6 WHOLE DAYS FOR KNOCKING OUT YOUR GIRL!

NFL To Crack Down On Domestic Violence Amid Criticism Of Ray Rice Punishment

August 28, 2014 11:28 PM
...
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Starting now, NFL players who commit domestic abuse will get triple the punishment Ray Rice did for his assault case. Players who do it a second time will be banned for life.

Christie Ileto explains the new penalties mark a significant change in attitude from the league.

It’s sending a message to the players and to the fans who look up to them that this type of behavior won’t be tolerated.

It’s the incident that landed running back Ray Rice with a two-game suspension after police say he knocked his wife unconscious in a casino elevator.

“Her pain is my pain, my pain is her pain,” Rice said during a public apology.

But as of Thursday, if a player is caught doing something similar, it means a six-game suspension for first time offenders and a lifetime ban if done twice.

It’s NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s way of saying he made a mistake in the Ray Rice case. In a letter to team owners, he wrote: “I didn’t get it right… We have to do better. And we will.”

“He’s showing everybody in the league this is not something you can do and get off lightly for it,” said Ravens fan Darryl Tarver.

Fans are already on board. The House of Ruth Maryland is calling it unprecedented: “This type of leadership is critical to changing attitudes and behaviors in our society as it relates to violence against women. We know that with the NFL’s substantial influence we can make groundbreaking progress in the fight against intimate partner violence.”

Earlier this month, Goodell defended Rice’s two-game suspension. It’s a complete 180 from the new penalties being handed down now.

“You have to respond to facts here. You have a lot of people voicing their opinions,” Goodell said.

Backlash followed his August 1 interview. Federal lawmakers even called Rice’s punishment “disturbingly lenient.”

But now: “Something like this will definitely hold other people accountable,” one woman said.

Players facing a lifetime ban would be able to apply for reinstatement under the new policy.

The NFL Players Association released this statement: “We were informed today of the NFL’s decision to increase penalties on domestic violence offenders under the Personal Conduct Policy for all NFL employees. As we do in all disciplinary matters, if we believe that players’ due process rights are infringed upon during the course of discipline, we will assert and defend our members’ rights.”

WJZ has learned the Ravens will partner with House of Ruth for a new domestic awareness campaign, including a $600,000 donation from the team.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Baltimore Ravens on such an important initiative,” said House of Ruth Maryland’s Executive Director Sandi Timmins. “The reaction in our society has always been ‘Why doesn’t she just leave?’ The Baltimore Ravens have pledged to assist us in shifting the paradigm to change that question to: ‘Why does HE think it is ok to abuse her?’ It’s time for men to speak up, to take responsibility for their behavior, and to hold each other to having partner relationships that are healthy. It’s time to ‘Man Up!’”

“The Ravens recognize the outstanding service the House of Ruth Maryland provides to our community and we want to help increase its influence,” said Baltimore Ravens President Dick Cass. “We also look forward to the education the House of Ruth Maryland will provide to members of our organization.”

Sorry libs, but truth hurts :: its a matter of fact that on GWB's watch a brutal dictator was overthrown and exterminated, millions were liberated and millions for the first time **including WOMEN** came out of the shadows & had a say in th...eir own governance by participating in a democratic election.

We then began training thousands who wanted to maintain their freedoms, calling them 'security forces', on various police and military disciplines so they could manage their homeland. However, before that job could be completed we had our own regime change & the strategy of the new regime was "cut & run." And now those brave ones who stepped up are systematically being rooted out and executed along with their families. And our strategy for dealing with these butchers? Well, when you find out...tell me.

Barack Obama "has become 'enraged' at the Israeli government, both for its actions and for its treatment of his chief diplomat, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. " So reports the Jerusalem Post, based on the testimony of Martin Indyk, until recently a special Middle East envoy for the president. The war in Gaza, Mr. Indyk adds, has had "a very negative impact" on Jerusalem's relations with Washington.
Think about this. Enraged. Not "alarmed" or "concerned" or "irritated" or even "angered." Anger is a feeling. Rage is a frenzy. Anger passes. Rage feeds on itself. Anger is specific. Rage is obsessional, neurotic.
And Mr. Obama—No Drama Obama, the president who prides himself on his cool, a man whose emotional detachment is said to explain his intellectual strength—is enraged. With Israel. Which has just been hit by several thousand unguided rockets and 30-odd terror tunnels, a 50-day war, the forced closure of its one major airport, accusations of "genocide" by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, anti-Semitic protests throughout Europe, general condemnation across the world. This is the country that is the object of the president's rage.

The president in Bethesda, Md., July 29. Ron Sachs/Cnp/Zuma Press
Think about this some more. In the summer in which Mr. Obama became "enraged" with Israel, Islamic State terrorists seized Mosul and massacred Shiite soldiers in open pits, Russian separatists shot down a civilian jetliner, Hamas executed 18 "collaborators" in broad daylight, Bashar Assad's forces in Syria came close to encircling Aleppo with the aim of starving the city into submission, a brave American journalist had his throat slit on YouTube by a British jihadist, Russian troops openly invaded Ukraine, and Chinese jets harassed U.S. surveillance planes over international waters.
Mr. Obama or his administration responded to these events with varying degrees of concern, censure and indignation. But rage?

Here, for instance, is the president in early August, talking to the New York Times's NYT -0.40% Tom Friedman about Russia and Ukraine:
"Finding an off-ramp for [ Vladimir Putin ] becomes more challenging. Having said that I think it is still possible for us, because of the effective organization that we have done with the Europeans around Ukraine, and the genuine bite that the sanctions have had on the Russian economy, for us to arrive at a fair accommodation in which Ukrainian sovereignty and independence is still recognized but there is also recognition that Ukraine does have historic ties to Russia, the majority of their trade goes to Russia, huge portions of the population are Russian speaking, and so they are not going to be severed from Russia. And if we do that a deal should be possible."
This isn't even condemnation. It's an apology. For Mr. Putin. Benjamin Netanyahu should be so lucky.
Now think about what, specifically, has enraged the president about Israel's behavior. "Its actions and its treatment of his chief diplomat."

Actions? Hamas began firing rockets at Israel in June, thereby breaking the cease-fire it had agreed to at the end of the last war, in November 2012. The latest war began in earnest on July 7 when Hamas fired some 80 rockets at Israel. "No country can accept rocket fire aimed at civilians," White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the next day, "and we support Israel's right to defend itself against these vicious attacks."

On July 15 Israel accepted the terms of a cease-fire crafted by Egypt. Hamas violated it by firing 50 rockets at Israel. On July 17 Israel accepted a five-hour humanitarian cease-fire. Hamas violated it again. On July 20 Israel allowed a two-hour medical window in the neighborhood of Shujaiyeh. Hamas violated it. On July 26 Hamas announced a daylong cease-fire. It then broke its own cease-fire. On July 28 Israel agreed to a cease-fire for the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr. The rocket attacks continued. On Aug. 1 Israel accepted a 72-hour cease-fire proposed by the U.S. Hamasviolated it within 90 minutes. On Aug. 5 Israel agreed to Egypt's terms for another three-day cease-fire. Hamas violated it several hours before it was set to expire, after Israel announced it would agree to an extension.

If Hamas had honored any of these cease-fires it could have saved Palestinian lives. It didn't. Mr. Obama is enraged—but not with Hamas.
As for Israel's supposed ill-treatment of Mr. Kerry, the president should read Ben Birnbaum's and Amir Tibon's account of his secretary's Mideast misadventures in the July 20 issue of the New Republic. It's a portrait of a diplomat with the skills and style, but not the success, of Inspector Clouseau. Mr. Obama might also read Haaretz columnist Ari Shavit's assessment of Mr. Kerry's diplomacy: "The Obama administration," he wrote in July, "proved once again that it is the best friend of its enemies, and the biggest enemy of its friends."
Both Haaretz and the New Republic are left-wing publications, sympathetic to Mr. Obama's intentions, if not his methods.
Still, the president is enraged. At Israel. What a guy.

The EU And The Fourth Reich by Wm. Dorich

“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,” are the powerful words inscribed on the State of Liberty. When applied to Serbia by the EU those words tra...nslate to mean… give us your sovereign nation and allow those of us who bombed you into submission to determine your right to breathe free.

This is the EU that bombed your bridges, your hospitals, your nursing homes, your trains, your schools and even your cemeteries in order to erase centuries of your existence on this land…when that was not cruel enough the U.S. and NATO violated the Geneva Conventions by attacking civilian targets with cluster bombs and by poisoning your soil with uranium tipped weapons that ushered in an avalanche of birth defects and cancer deaths unseen in Serbia for a hundred years.

The same EU that poisoned the Danube River for a thousand miles through 7 counties dependent on that river for food.

“Yearning to Breathe Free?”… The EU promises nothing to Serbia other than a ‘carrot and a stick’ and empty promises. There are no frank discussions of what Serbia must 'surrender' to join this elite dictatorship. Demands that Serbia surrender are the same demands made by Austria and Germany that led to two World Wars.

What are the trade-offs Serbs will be expected to make? One fact is clear… the “Huddled Masses” of Serbia will never again find hope or freedom when that freedom will be determined by Brussels with the same insensitive brutality as the Ottoman Turks inflicted on the Serbs for 400 years.

The EU boasts of its vague opportunity of membership, but speaks softly about destroying Serbia’s sovereignty that fulfills Hitler’s EU dream of One Europe under the control of the Fourth Reich.

Where are these magnanimous EU members today in helping Serbia rebuild after 78 days of disproportionate and punishing bombing 15 years ago that did $80 billion in damage to Serbia? More bombs were dropped on Serbia in 78 days than were dropped on Yugoslavia during 4 years of WWII.

Not surprising that there is no EU type of “Marshal Plan” to rebuild Serbia and its destroyed institutions that will be paramount for a growing Serbian economy on which the EU will be financially dependent and demanding. Where are the billions of dollars to rebuild 62 downed bridges, 200 Serbian schools bombed by EU members? And where are the ecological teams to remove unexploded cluster bombs and to clean the contaminated soil that will take generations to repair?

The feckless members of the EU preach “European peace and unity.” Meanwhile, the combined total aid from all of the EU countries to Serbian flood victims is less than $800 million dollars as Vice President Joseph Biden tells Serbia’s Prime Minister that “No aid will be sent from the United States because Serbia accepted aid from Russia”…What kind of monsters are we in the United States with that kind of corrupt leadership? We did not treat our German and Japanese enemies with collective guilt or with such contempt—we rebuilt both nations after the war.

The EU exposes their disgusting level of duplicity toward Serbia. Why would any Serb in their right mind want to join such a contemptible club in which the membership tried three times in this century to liquidate Serbians through some of the most grotesque Genocide of the 20th century?

It is clear that the European Union employs the ‘moving goal post’ tactic, a strategy used by the United States for the past 25 years … each time a Serbian politician agreed to an American demand that goal post was moved again and again.

The Serbian membership in the EU will only be accomplished when Serbia has been totally destroyed in much the same way that Iraq, Syria, Egypt and Afghanistan—thanks to the billions of dollars secretly spent in those nations by the CIA and thugs like Victoria Nuland who admitted to giving $5 Billion dollars to unseat a duly elected president in the Ukraine and to openly support Nazi elements in Kiev.

The possibilities of Serbia joining the EU in the next decade are both slim and none… The Serbs need to look carefully at how the EU has treated Spain, Ireland and Greece and what really happens when a country relinquishes its sovereignty, freedom and its rights to a group of international corporatists eager to steal them blind, to sell off their mineral assets to goons and thugs to become victims of the 21st century version of corporate bondage resulting in lower wages and foreign debt that is difficult to repay.

The Serbians are “Tired” and after 5 wars on Balkan soil in the past 100 years they have come to realize that they have bent to dictates too many times…they have allowed other nations to determine how and with whom they will live. The EU promises Serbia more of the same.

The EU is currently dictating Serbian trade with Russia. What in God’s name will they demand once Serbia is embraced by these Nazi corporatists in which the EU will be the Lord and Master and the Serbs will once again be the “Niggers” of the Balkans enslaved for another 400 years?

Beware of the EU deception...
According to The Guardian today..."The clergy is a powerful force in Saudi Arabia. Its influence derives from the fact that the royal family has entered into a formal pact with the sheikhs, under which the understanding is that the House of... Saud can hold on to political power, while the religious establishment gets to dictate the national character of Saudi Arabia, one that has remained doggedly extreme."

The Royal Family and all of their hundreds of cousins bask in enormous wealth and use their billions to finance Muslim terrorism throughout the Middle East and the Balkans as the U.S. manages to look the other way.

The King and his ilk built over 200 mosques in Bosnia and Kosovo in the past decade and financed the First Muslim State in Europe and the amputation of sovereign Serbian territory in Kosovo where his fanatic Muslims destroyed hundreds of Serbian Christian churches much to the pleasure of this immoral Saudi king.

Now the Saudi King tells FoxNews that "America will be attacked within two months"...What pisses me off as an American is that the King and his Royal ilk have been very willing to hold our coats while we shed the lives and the blood of our sons and daughters defending one Muslim uprising after another, while the vast majority of this violence is bought and paid for by this King and his court of clerical fanatics.

What strikes me as rather odd about this ISIS crisis is that the combined number of Muslim troops in Syria, Egypt, Iraq and Lybia number well into a million armed troops, yet it is being promoted that they are incapable of killing 10,000 ISIS terrorists? Are we Americans rely this stupid or is the Industrial Military Complex driving this bus over a cliff by once again dragging us into another war to feed the military beast?

Islam A German View

Hard to argue with this:

A German's View on Islam - worth reading. This is one of the best explanations of the Muslim terrorist situation I have ever read. His references to past history are accurate and clear. Not long, easy to understand, and well worth the read. The author of this email is Dr. Emanuel Tanya, a well-known and well-respected psychiatrist. A man, whose... family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.

'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come.’

‘My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

‘We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is a religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the specter of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.’

‘The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.’

‘The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous. Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China 's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.’

‘The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet. And who can forget Rwanda , which collapsed into butchery? Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

‘History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany , they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.’

‘Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.’

‘Now Islamic prayers have been introduced in Toronto and other public schools in Ontario , and, yes, in Ottawa , too, while the Lord's Prayer was removed (due to being so offensive?). The Islamic way may be peaceful for the time being in our country until the fanatics move in.’

‘In Australia , and indeed in many countries around the world, many of the most commonly consumed food items have the halal emblem on them. Just look at the back of some of the most popular chocolate bars, and at other food items in your local supermarket. Food on aircraft have the halal emblem just to appease the privileged minority who are now rapidly expanding within the nation's shores.’

‘In the U.K, the Muslim communities refuse to integrate and there are now dozens of "no-go" zones within major cities across the country that the police force dare not intrude upon. Sharia law prevails there, because the Muslim community in those areas refuse to acknowledge British law.’

‘As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts - the fanatics who threaten our way of life.’

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on, is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand.

Extend yourself a bit and send this on. Let us hope that thousands world-wide read this, think about it, and send it on before it's too late, and we are silenced because we were silent!!!

Does anyone remember Detective Melvin Santiago?
He was a Jersey City police officer who was shot to death just
over a month ago, on July 13th. Santiago was white. His killer,
Lawrence Campbell, was black. Does anyone recall Obama
appearing on national television and calling for justice for Officer
Santiago’s family? Does anyone recall Eric Holder rushing to
Jersey City to see ...that justice was done?

How about Officer Jeffrey Westerfield. He was a Gary, Indiana
police officer who was shot to death last month on July 6th.
Westerfield was white. His killer, Carl LeEllis Blount, Jr., was
black. Where was Obama? Where was Holder?

Or Officer Perry Renn? He was an Indianapolis, Indiana
police officer who was shot to death just last month on July 5th,
the day before Officer Westerfield was killed. Officer Renn was white.
His killer, Major Davis, was black. I don't recall any mention by
Obama about the untimely death of Officer Renn. And, I doubt that
Eric Holder rushed to Indianapolis to make sure justice was done.
Or, maybe I just missed it.

Vermillion Parish Deputy Sheriff Allen Bares was gunned down
by two men just last June 23rd in Louisiana. Deputy Bares was
white. His two killers, Quintlan Richard and Baylon Taylor, were
black. Was Obama outraged? Did Eric Holder rush to Louisiana
to make sure that the family of Deputy Bares found justice?

In Texas, Detective Charles Dinwiddie of the Killeen Police
Department was murdered by Marvin Lewis Guy, a black male.
Officer Dinwiddie was white. This happened on May 11th, just
under four months ago. I don’t even recall seeing anything about
that on the news. Certainly, the white citizens in Killeen didn't take
to the streets to loot and burn businesses. Again, I don't recall any
mention by Obama or Holder.

Then, there is Officer Kevin Jordan of the Griffin, Georgia
Police Department. He was gunned down just three months ago on
May 31st. Officer Jordan was black. His killer, Michael Bowman,
was white. This was a white man murdering a black police officer.
Where was Jesse Jackson? Where was "The Reverend" Al Sharpton?
Was there looting and burning on the streets of Griffin, Georgia?
No. In fact, I don't recall hearing about this one in the news, as well.
Why? You can draw your own conclusions.

Over the past 60 days, there have been five reported deaths of
police officers by gunshot in the US. Of those, four were white
officers who were murdered by black men. Blacks complain that
white officers treat black men more aggressively on the street.

You can draw your own conclusions. Where is Obama? Unlike his predecessors in the WH...Obama has not even sent a word of sympathy to the families 0f 194 police officers killed in the LOD since he entered the WH..Not a word..But! he has commented on several white on black deaths..here is what he needs to do also....Comment on the over 10,000 gang related black on black deaths since he took office..
