US AMBASSADOR MONTGOMERY...A DICKHEAD AND AN AMERICAN BIGOT.
"While not removing Kosovo from the door, you will forever be stuck in limbo. I'm not saying that recognized Kosovo, but to get into a situation where you will not be held hostage. The fact is that you are now hostage to Russia and that your government believes, if you offend Putin, he will in the UN Security Council to allow Kosovo to become independent, "said Montgomery
Serbia suffers immense collateral damage due to the conflict between Russia and the West, and therefore the Government of Serbia its position should remain silent and to be open not classified to either side, said tonight former US ambassador to Serbia William Montgomery.
Montgomery, in a conversation with the owner of MK Group Miodrag Kostic at the forum Cotrugli business school "Kostic asks Montgomery - Montgomery asks Kostic", pointed out that the Russian Federation and Western countries exert pressure on Serbia to demonstrate that supports their position.
"Within the European Union there are those who question whether Serbia should continue in the accession process, because Serbia is seen as pro-Russian country, which does not support sanctions Russia, and has with its army military exercises," said Montgomery.
On the other hand, he added, Russia would like to give her more support to Serbia, which is why Serbia's walking a very thin line in an effort to impress both sides hoping to stop the conflict.
"I think that the conflict will not stop, but that will only get worse and that it will then be pressure on both sides to boost Serbia. This damage appears Serbia has the potential to divide your society, "says Montgomery.
When asked what Kostic proposed to decision makers in order to deal with the the problem, Montgomery was accurate: "shut up!"
"The government should shut up, to cease to defend your position. When I was ambassador in Belgrade refused to speak about the bombing in 1999, because I could not in any case good to go. Your government should shut up and not to do things that will dramatically reveal an impression that is close to Russia, "said Montgomery.
As highlighted, the authorities do not have to answer every question that someone asked them, especially because "every time you speak the situation worse."
"Until you remove Kosovo from your door, you will forever be stuck in limbo. I'm not saying that recognized Kosovo, but to get into a situation where you will not be held hostage. The fact is that you are now hostage to Russia and that your government believes, if you offend Putin, he will in the UN Security Council to allow Kosovo to become independent, "said Montgomery, on what is Kostic said that Serbia is not only hostage to Russia, but the entire international community.
I believe that the Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic able to do things in this country change for the better, but I do not believe that all those around him able to apply what they say, said the owner of MK Group Miodrag Kostic.
He said that Vucic only person who has power similar to that he was the late Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic.
"He has 44 years, is energetic, learning every day, and in the last two years he has learned two languages. However, do not believe all the people who are around him can implements what he says. He would have to change some of them, "said Kostic.
Montgomery said that Vucic made great progress in Serbia, but the problem is that ordinary people do not see.
"Vucic did a good job with the IMF, budget consolidation, and it seems that of all the countries in the region Serbia most aggressive attempts to bring foreign investment. And it's merit Vucic, "said Montgomery.
He however noted that, when you ask a taxi driver whether he likes change, he will tell you not to.
"That's the problem facing the country. Must make the economy better, and that ordinary people see changes for the better. Vucic has more time to do so, but will miss the chance to do so, if the situation soon visibly improves. The country was so ruined that it is difficult to do quickly, "says Montgomery.
Kostic added that the problem of doing business in Serbia that by local governments has many "small Vucic" who believe that "the gods at the local level".
"We have a company in 64 of the 150 local government and not a problem with Vucic, but with authority to local governments - small Vucic, who think they are gods at the local level. My problem is the para-fiscal charges, which are often higher than corporate tax, "said Kostic.

France Declares War on Radical Islam

The moves are part of a raft of new anti-terrorism measures aimed at preventing French citizens or residents from joining jihadist groups abroad. The new powers are controversial because they can be implemented without judicial approval.
"These are legal tools, but not tools of exception, nor of generalized surveillance of citizens. There cannot be a lawless zone in the digital space. Often we cannot predict the threat, the services must have the power to react quickly." — Manuel Valls, Prime Minister of France.
"When you do a projection for the months to come, there could be 5,000 [Europeans waging jihad in Iraq and Syria] before summer and 10,000 before the end of the year. Do you realize the threat that this represents?" — Manuel Valls, Prime Minister of France.
The French government has cut the social welfare benefits of nearly 300 jihadists who have left France to join the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. Amid a rapidly expanding jihadist threat, it has also started confiscating passports, imposing travel bans and blocking access to jihadist websites.
The moves are part of a raft of new anti-terrorism measures aimed at preventing French citizens or residents from joining jihadist groups abroad, and at slowing the spread of radical Islam at home. Muslim groups are criticizing the flurry of activity as "Islamophobia."
On March 17, Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve revealed that the government has stopped paying welfare benefits to 290 French jihadists fighting with the Islamic State. He said that the agencies responsible for distributing welfare payments were being notified as soon as it was confirmed that a French citizen had left the country to fight abroad.
At least 1,200 French nationals or residents are believed to have joined the Islamic State, but Cazeneuve did not say whether any of those were receiving benefits. "We should not make a controversy out of this subject or allow people to think that no action has been taken," he said. "We are taking this seriously and will continue to do so."
The debate over benefits payments to jihadists erupted in November 2014, when Eric Ciotti, the president of Alpes-Maritimes, a department in southeastern France, suspended the payment of a welfare benefit known as the RSA to a French jihadist fighting in Syria. "I cannot conceive that public money goes into the pockets of someone who harbors terrorist designs against our nation, against its vital interests and against democracy, and that money is being used to fund jihad," Ciotti said at the time.
Meanwhile, for the first time ever, French authorities on February 23 confiscated the passports and identity cards of six French citizens who were allegedly planning to travel to Syria to join the Islamic State. The government said it might seize the passports of at least 40 other French citizens.
On March 16, the Interior Ministry also blocked five Islamist websites that, it said, were promoting terrorism. The sites included one belonging to al-Hayat Media Center, the propaganda wing of the Islamic State.
The actions were carried out in accordance with new rules that grant French authorities the power to block websites that "glorify terrorism," and to impose entry and exit bans on individuals "whenever there are serious reasons to believe that they are planning to travel abroad... to take part in terrorist activities, war crimes or crimes against humanity." The new powers have been controversial because they can be implemented without judicial approval.
Cazeneuve said that the websites were blocked to prevent people from "taking up arms" on the Internet. "I make a distinction between freedom of expression and the spread of messages that serve to glorify terrorism," he said. "These hate messages are a crime," he added. Cazeneuve said his ministry was targeting "dozens" of other jihadist websites.
But the Human Rights Commissioner of the Council of Europe, Nils Muižnieks, criticized the move because it was carried out without judicial oversight. "Limiting human rights to fight against terrorism is a serious mistake and an inefficient measure that can even help the terrorists' cause," he said.
Muižnieks added that he was "worried" about the "exclusively security-driven approach" shaping French counter-terrorism legislation, and warned that if adopted, "this legislation could have the effect of killing freedom and creating a dangerous social climate in which all individuals are considered potential suspects."
Muižnieks was referring to a new bill that was unveiled by Prime Minister Manuel Valls on March 19, which would allow intelligence services to monitor and collect the email and telephone communications of anyone suspected of being a terrorist. The bill will be debated in the French parliament in April and is expected to be approved in July.
Among other features, the new law would force Internet service providers and telephone companies to allow intelligence services to record metadata, which could be stored for up to five years and would be analyzed for potentially suspicious behavior. If intelligence agents detect anything suspicious, they could ask an independent nine-person panel for permission to conduct more intense surveillance.
Amnesty International said the law would pave the way for intrusive surveillance practices with no judicial pre-authorization. In a statement, the group said:
"The surveillance practices envisaged in the draft legislation would give the French authorities extremely broad surveillance powers running against fundamental principles of proportionality and legality, which ought to govern all restrictions on the right to privacy and free speech."
Valls defended the bill. "These are legal tools, but not tools of exception, nor of generalized surveillance of citizens," he said at a press conference. "There will not be a French Patriot Act," he said, referring to American legislation bearing the same name. "There cannot be a lawless zone in the digital space. Often we cannot predict the threat, the services must have the power to react quickly."
The majority of French citizens seem to agree. An Ipsos survey for Radio Europe 1 and the French daily Le Monde on January 28 showed that 71% of people were in favor of general surveillance without the need to get a warrant from a judge.
Other counter-terrorism initiatives include:
On March 3, Valls announced that the state would double the number of university courses on Islam in an effort to stop foreign governments from financing and influencing the training of French imams. Valls said that he wanted more imams and prison chaplains who have been trained abroad to "undergo more training in France, to speak French fluently and to understand the concept of secularism." There are currently six universities in France offering courses in Islamic studies and theology. Valls said he wanted to double that number to 12 and that the courses would be free.
On February 25, Cazeneuve unveiled a plan to "reform" the Muslim faith in order to bring it into line with the "values of the French Republic." This would be done by means of a new "Islamic Foundation" devoted to conducting "revitalizing research" into a form of Islam that "carries the message of peace, tolerance and respect." Among other measures, the government would create a new forum to: promote dialogue with the Muslim community; improve the training of Muslim preachers; combat radicalization in French prisons; and regulate Muslim schools.
On January 21, Valls announced a 736 million euro ($835 million) program to augment its anti-terrorism defenses. He said the government would hire and train 2,680 new anti-terrorist judges, security agents, police officers, electronic eavesdroppers and analysts over the next three years. The government will also spend 480 million euros on new weapons and protective gear for police. The initiative includes an enhanced online presence based on a new government website called "Stop Djihadisme."
"They tell you: Sacrifice yourself with us, you will defend a just cause." The French government's anti-jihadist website, called "Stop Djihadisme," features videos debunking jihadist recruitment propaganda.

Valls recently warned that as many as 10,000 Europeans could be waging jihad in Iraq and Syria by the end of 2015. "There are 3,000 Europeans in Iraq and Syria today," he said. "When you do a projection for the months to come, there could be 5,000 before summer and 10,000 before the end of the year. Do you realize the threat that this represents?"

 Americans as POW in America

Tuesday March 25, 2015 at 5:00pm PST...  calling all patriots this is the time to be heard call-in at (347) 826-7353

Americans will soon have little recourse against a government bent on controlling every aspect of their lives, and the way our country is headed freedom will be on the endangered species list.

With the passage of the NDAA our government is operating with impunity, overriding Posse Comitatus, and allowing the military unchecked power to arrest, detain, interrogate and even assassinate its patriots. Including detaining them indefinitely without cause. We are losing our freedoms by the minute and have arrived at a critical breaking point. America is unrecognizable in this state and we have hit the nightmare scenario.

From July 15th to September 15th, 2015, the U.S. Army Special Operations Command is conducting a massive military drill in an area covering the entire American   Southwest. At first glance, I thought this drill was a response to the massive military drills being conducted by Russia. I wrongly assumed that Jade Helm 15 was a drill designed to protect the Southwest from an invasion by Russian-backed Latin American military forces (i.e. Red Dawn). However, after reading the operational plan of Jade Helm, it is clear that this drill is about the brutal martial subjugation of the people of Texas, Utah and Southern California who have risen up against some unspecified tyranny. Further, this drill is also about martial law being used as a preventative measure in states which “might” lean towards civil war against the United States government (i.e. California, Nevada, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico).

The operational elements and impact of Jade Helm 15 cannot be considered in isolation. A careful analysis reveals how this drill is connected to Army policies associated with the confinement of detainees in what is commonly called FEMA camps! This drill is undoubtedly the most frightening thing to occur on American soil since the Civil War.

Jade Helm’s Purpose Defined

“Jade Helm is a challenging eight-week joint military and Interagency (IA) Unconventional Warfare (UW) exercise conducted throughout Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado.”

The term, “unconventional warfare (UW)” makes it clear that this exercise is not dealing with a Russian-backed “Red Dawn” invasion of the Southwestern United States by Russian backed Latin American partners. UW speaks to the guerrilla warfare (asymmetrical) nature of the anticipated and rehearsed conflict. Subsequently, it can be conclusively stated that Jade Helm is not preparing for a Red Dawn invasion, rather, they are preparing for a Red, White and Blue invasion. This is a massive rehearsal for martial law implementation as well as implementing the proverbial and much rumored Red and Blue List and the “snatch and grab” extractions of key resistance figures from the Independent Media as well as uncooperative political figures. The various provisions of Jade Helm make it clear just how dangerous this drill truly is.

I assure you that one day soon we will experience persecution on a much broader scale. It’s not a question of if, but a question of when. Executive orders have been signed by our President, labor camps have been setup, our government has stockpiled guns and ammo, and Christians, patriots, homeschoolers, gun owners, and veterans have been placed on terrorist watch lists.

Why should God save America?

Sunday March 22, 2015 at 12:00 noontime PST...  if, YOU are a Christian stand- up today, Stop the bleeding of our nation and churches. Be a part of this show here is number to call-in at (347) 826-7353

Over and over the America people have turned their back on GOD. Once again they think god can be trick into help then because they pray for moment. Let us take a look?

Why has this erosion of American power taken place? Why has the most powerful single nation in modern history skidded so far in two short decades? The answer is not hard to ascertain! Long centuries ago a wise man flashed out the warning signal: "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people" (Prov. 14:34). More than any other nation we have been the custodians of the knowledge and the glory of God, and the missionaries of the good news of God’s salvation have embarked from our fair shores to nearly every nation under heaven. When Great Britain served God and honored Him in all their doings, the sun never set upon her Empire, and her navy ruled the oceans. But when she forsook the Lord, and listened to the gods of humanism, secularism, love of pleasure, sex, immorality, perversion and debauchery, the mighty British Commonwealth, once representing almost a billion people, began to disintegrate and has now fallen into irretrievable decay. Today it is just a shadow of its former self, and its decline hasn't stopped yet.

WE  often speak of the decline in marriage, out-of-wedlock childbirth, morally bankrupt leadership, the decline of the true church, the failed public education system, the rising gap between rich and poor and they come to the conclusion that without desperate measures, that such a civilization cannot survive.  Demographers point to drastically declined birth rates in every outpost of Western Civilization and remind us that demography is destiny; without new citizens civilization itself is unsustainable.

America has the highest:

Incarceration rate and the largest prison population in the world.

Percentage of obese people in the world.

Divorce rate in the world.

Rate of illegal drug use in the world.

National debt the world has ever seen (Increasing by $40,000 per second.)

Percentage of women taking anti-depressants in the world.

Trade deficit in the world each year. Between Dec. 2000 and Dec. 2010, $6.5 trillion. We’ve had a negative trade balance every year since 1976.

Yes, American power, pride, prestige, and purpose has been broken "bone by bone" over the years since 1961, to the point where the patient is almost an impotent cripple. The America of 1945 — sitting atop the very pinnacle of world power — no longer exists. The leadership of present-day America is as far removed from both turn-of-the-century and World War II U.S.A. as could possibly be.

Look at who and what masquerades as leadership in this country. This kind of “leadership” has wasted our economic and military strength through bankster inspired spending designed to turn all of us into their debt slaves.  Our morally deprived “leadership” reflects who we are as a nation and what we have become.

As you continue to watch football, realize that they are here and are attempting to recruit your children.

As you continue to watch football, realize that the terrorists are here and are attempting to recruit your children.

Spiritually, Christianity is now “out” and under extreme attack, but Islam is “in”. What kind of country would allow a criminal organization such ISIS to recruit its most vulnerable underclass youth in order to ferment violence against law and order as we ARE seeing in places like Ferguson? Why isn’t our Justice Department arresting these terrorists who are invading our urban areas and turning the young into PLO type of terrorists? What kind of country permits this kind subversion of its basic cultural ideals without so much as a whimper?

In Resignation, Oklahoma Teacher Blows Whistle on Common Core

In a scathing resignation letter about the issue, Oklahoma City math teacher Juli Sylvan blasted the controversial Common Core standards and exposed numerous serious problems with the Obama-backed scheme — including the fact that it is being quietly implemented in apparent defiance of state law. Among the most troubling elements, according to Sylvan — a veteran teacher with more than two decades in the classroom — is the data-mining of children, which she said she is not willing to facilitate. However, the problems with the administration-promoted national school standards are much more wide ranging. From using ineffective teaching methods and imposing a one-size-fits-all education model to doing away with individualism and confusing students, the Common Core disaster is growing even in Oklahoma. Unable to protect her students from the scheme any longer, Sylvan said her only remaining option was to resign from the profession she loves. Lawmakers are aware of the resignation and looking into the matter.

Sylvan’s resignation letter, sent to school-board members and other education officials, represents a damning indictment of the standards and the forces behind them. “Common Core is not simply a new method of teaching,” she explained in the letter, a copy of which was obtained by The New American. “It is a complete takeover of WHAT is taught in the public school system. It takes away the individual’s freedom and joy of learning because of the one size fits all approach. All students don’t learn or express themselves in the same way. Common Core tends to do away with individualism — which is one of the attributes that makes America great. Diversity is one of our greatest resources, but Common Core erodes this great strength by taking parents, teachers, and elected officials out of the decision making process.” Similar warnings have been issued by experts and educators nationwide.

In fact, the outrage and disgust surrounding the standards — often ridiculed as “ObamaCore” by critics — was so intense in Oklahoma that lawmakers and the governor passed a law ending Common Core in the state. “We cannot ignore the widespread concern of citizens, parents, educators and legislators who have expressed fear that adopting Common Core gives up local control of Oklahoma’s public schools,” Governor Mary Fallin said in signing the anti-Common Core law, which passed overwhelmingly in both houses of the legislature. “The words ‘Common Core’ in Oklahoma are now so divisive that they have become a distraction that interferes with our mission of providing the best education possible for our children.... We are capable of developing our own Oklahoma academic standards that will be better than Common Core.”
Nevertheless, quietly and under the radar, education officials have been proceeding with the implementation of the standards in seeming violation of state law, Sylvan and others say. The implications are massive — especially for Oklahoma teachers, parents, students, taxpayers, and elected officials who sought to protect the state from Common Core by banning it last year. Despite her best efforts to resist, Sylvan said the system has essentially been rigged to force resistant teachers to implement the national standards or face serious consequences, up to and including dismissal. The popular teacher also noted that she and many others have been in meetings where it was openly stated that Common Core would be implemented, even if by “simply changing the name.”
Among the key enforcement tools, she explained, citing official documents, is the “Teacher Leadership Effectiveness” (TLE) scheme to coerce teachers into Common Core submission. It goes beyond the TLE, though. “I was constantly being harassed and threatened with termination for not implementing Common Core components,” Sylvan told The New American, citing data collection, testing, teaching strategies aligned to Common Core, and more. “As a teacher in the classroom in that environment with constantly being harassed, my ability to protect my students from the Common Core was being rapidly diminished.” However, she could not in good conscience “promote or contribute to the implementation of Common Core,” she added.
In her letter explaining the decision, Sylvan even cited Lily Williams, a former law professor who escaped from Communist China. Williams has lambasted Common Core and the associated data-gathering for exhibiting many of the same qualities and attributes of the Beijing regime’s indoctrination system masquerading as “education.” From centralizing control over education to creating invasive files on every student that will follow them for life, Williams said the parallels are deeply troubling to her as a victim of communist tyranny who fled to the United States in pursuit of freedom. Sylvan, too, has grown beyond alarmed at what is happening to education under the Obama-backed Common Core regime. And it is only getting worse.
That is why, out of options, Sylvan felt forced to submit her resignation letter, teaching her final classes on March 6. In a phone interview with The New American the next day, Sylvan said she distributed her resignation letter among students, many of whom are also deeply concerned about Common Core and the data mining. She said that students in some of her classes applauded her decision to stand up against the scheme and thanked her for trying so hard to protect them. Multiple sources at the Oklahoma legislature also confirmed that lawmakers are aware of Sylvan’s resignation and her sharp criticism of what is going on in the schools regarding Common Core implementation. What actions may be taken, if any, remains unclear, though legislators are investigating.
In her many teacher evaluations over the years, Sylvan has always been given the highest assessments, so education officials know that she is an effective instructor — that is not the problem. “But now, I am being singled out for refusing to do what Oklahoma Law prohibits,” she wrote in the letter, referring to the implementation of Common Core. “I believe the problems we have in education stem from the takeover of education by the federal government. We in Oklahoma do not need to be told how to educate our children. We are capable of determining that for ourselves. I cannot promote a system that violates the law and the rights of students and their parents. Children’s and parents’ personal information is being mined through testing and surveys preparing them as human capital for the 21st century workforce for stockholders and ‘stakeholders.’” And that is not acceptable, she said.
“Although the system of Common Core is many things, the most commonly discussed are the standards which are incomplete and vague at best,” Sylvan told The New American. “An example is it teaches mathematical steps out of order and leaves out steps. Math is not taught at developmentally appropriate ages and it’s disguised as rigor and readiness. The results are students become confused and discouraged as well as receive an incomplete education.” Indeed, Sylvan is hardly alone in her criticism of the math standards. Professor James Milgram of Stanford, the only math subject-matter expert selected to sit on the Common Core Validation Committee, refused to sign off on the standards, citing, among other concerns, incorrect math.
Beyond the poor standards and methods, Sylvan also zeroed in her criticism on the Orwellian data-mining component of the so-called “education reform” agenda pushed from Washington. “The Common Core standards are also used as a distraction to deceptively justify or defend the collection of student data,” she said. Much of the data collection occurs through the (unconstitutional) testing regime, she continued, echoing the concerns of numerous experts and analysts. “Unfortunately, testing is now being used to gather personal data about the student and/or the student’s family,” Sylvan wrote in the letter. “Tests are collecting information far more extensive and invasive than merely tracking academic performance.”
Among the personal data being vacuumed up on students is information on the beliefs of children and parents, mental problems, attitudes, behavior, religion, and more, she said, citing government documents. Sylvan also noted that the so-called “stimulus” program, which provided much of the bribe money used to impose Common Core on states, demands that the data-gathering systems have the capability to track everything from pre-school to the workforce and beyond. “This data is being used to track and put students on a path that may be detrimental to what they and their parents desire,” Sylvan added in the letter. The Obama administration cryptically refers to it as the “cradle-to-career” agenda.
After 22 years of teaching, Sylvan told the school board and education officials that she was very sad to see what was being allowed to happen to schools and to the nation more broadly. “I pray that we will end this nonsense and return to the principle that made American great,” she said. “Because of this I feel I must resign from a job that I have passionately pursued and must leave students that have been my life’s work.” Of course, Sylvan is hardly the first educator to resign over Common Core. What makes her story especially noteworthy, though, is that it happened in one of the states that supposedly repealed Common Core.
In an e-mail to The New American, Jenni White of Restore Oklahoma Public Education (ROPE), which played a key role in getting the legislature to repeal Common Core, said she was well aware of the ongoing problems with the standards being implemented in Oklahoma. “It's true that passing a single law against a national initiative will not remove it from any state,” she explained, citing a recent blog post she wrote underscoring how Common Core was alive and well in the state despite the law supposedly undoing it. “But then, this is the reason why sovereign states should not cede their control to the federal government for money or programming or anything else. Common Core is such a far-reaching initiative that it's almost impossible now for states who try to escape its clutches not to have it brought back into the state in one form or another from textbooks to testing.”
Still, while the task of uprooting the scheme may be enormous, critics of Common Core say stopping the scheme must be done. The future of America and liberty might literally hang in the balance.
EU Parliament Declares Abortion and Gay Marriage "Human Rights"

The European Parliament last week declared gay "marriage" and abortion to be fundamental human rights.
These designations were approved on March 12 as part of the "Annual Report on Human Rights and Democracy" the group signed off on.
The parliament is infamous for espousing strongly "progressive" positions and pushing those extreme policies down to its member nations, working to make them the law.
According to the language of the report, it is "regrettable" that a woman's right to control her own body "remain[s] an idealogical battleground." Further, the parliament suggests that the individual countries legislatively protect the "right to access voluntary family planning and safe and legal abortion."

Any attempt to deny a woman an abortion, says the parliament's report, is a "serious breach of human rights."
There is much in that statement that should offend everyone in the EU who believes that the unborn are human and possess rights — rights they are incapable of having defended by demagogues meeting in marbled halls who hand down progressive pronouncements that could result in the murder of millions.
Regarding the "rights" particular to homosexuals, the report recommends that legislatures throughout Europe "raise the issue of LGBTI [lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, and intersex] rights in political and human rights dialogues with third countries and multilateral forums." The parliament also presses for national governments to "support organisations [sic] defending LGBTI rights by empowering them to challenge homophobic and transphoboic laws and discrimination against LGBTI people."
It is undeniable that there is an accelerating momentum globally and domestically speeding toward expanding the scope of sexually abnormal behavior. The very fact that the movement was once known as "gay rights" finds even that nomenclature too restrictive and exclusionary. Now, it would be "transphobic" (and some other sort of phobia, as well) to fight simply for the "rights" of homosexuals.
Legalized same-sex "marriage" is praised by the parliament, whose report points joyfully to the number of nations (17) where such acts are approved. In fact, countries where marriage is defined as the legal union of one man and one woman are, the report reads, are dealing with a serious "social and human and civil rights issue."
In that vein, the reports singles out the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, where "a bill constitutionally banning same-sex marriage is currently being considered in parliament." As might be expected, the European Parliament's report denigrates such legislation as contributing to "a climate of homophobia and discrimination."
A story on the report's approval published by Breitbart cites a statement made by advocates of traditional marriage:
The Federation of Catholic Family Associations in Europe said that the resolution’s position on marriage “threatens the right of children to have a father and a mother.” It said children’s best interest should be considered, and their needs “should be respected” and “cannot be neglected in favor of adults’ desires.”
That statement strikes directly at the heart of the matter. The parliament's declarations do nothing for the "rights" of the so-called LGBTI community. These people are humans and humans have rights regardless of their sexual orientation or surgical choices. In fact, there is hardly a day that passes without defense of these people echoing throughout palaces of power. Furthermore, the LGBTI community spends billions on lobbyists to promote their positions in parliaments, congresses, and courts around the world.
The unborn, however, have no voice — at least not one that can be heard. These most vulnerable of people must silently surrender to the whims and selfish desires of an ever expanding circle of protected classes.
Three hundred and ninety members of the European Parliament voted in favor of the report, known as the Panzeri Report. That was more than double the number of members who voted against it.
As state after state legalizes gay "marriage" and enacts slates of special rights for people represented by the other letters in the ever-lengthening acronym of sexual orientation, the movement heads away from traditional, timeless values and hurtles at breakneck speed toward total abandonment of the unborn and complete adoption of the radical LGBTI agenda.
Remarkably, the LGBTI lobby is not satisfied with the recommendations of the Panzeri Report. Activists are always pressuring governments to push back the borders of accommodations to their way of life. Take these paragraphs from a report called "Fight Discrimination in Europe" authored by Amnesty International:
Transgender rights, the right to be protected from homophobic and transphobic hate crime and discrimination in areas such as education and health are still not guaranteed under EU law. And there are still attempts to restrict freedom of assembly for LGBTI participants, and to discriminate against LGBTI people by introducing homophobic and transphobic legislation in Lithuania, an EU member state.
When all too often human rights seem to play second fiddle to other factors such as the economy, the EU needs to put human rights at the heart of all of its action, internally and externally.
At a recent LGBT Intergroup event, it was great to hear MEP Ulrike Lunacek acknowledge the importance of Amnesty International as a human rights organisation engaged in working for LGBTI rights. I felt proud to be part of the wider movement to combat discrimination, and I strongly believe that the positive steps we have accomplished have only been possible with the joint efforts of the LGBT Intergroup and civil society.
And, lest anyone believe this bloc is content to change Europe, consider this call to action by the same group:
We can and must continue to push the EU to do more. Only then can we concretely achieve better LGBTI rights across Europe and beyond. As part of my work for the Fight Discrimination in Europe campaign, I will continue to urge the European Parliament to keep working to advance LGBTI rights.
While some activists may be content to pressure lawmakers to accommodate their demands, as this reporter revealed last month, these advocates have allies in the United States that are pushing for a constitutional convention wherein these positions would not only be included in bills, but they would also become part of our very foundational document.
Rather than representing the best and most virtuous of ourselves and our common principles, Constitution 2.0, hammered out by pro-LGBTI representatives at an "amendments convention" would be an unrecognizable recitation of the most selfish desires of a small segment of our society.
