When we thought we'd heard the highest levels of hypocrisy imaginable, this report came in late this afternoon. The National Mall, which has been closed for the last week due to the government slow down, will be re-opened tomorrow (Tuesday).

The purpose of this opening? An immigration reform rally.

Just so you get this (I know, it took me a moment to swallow it, too), it means, America, the country for which we pay to provide for its protection, its national treasures, it...s public buildings, its public officers, and a multitude of other things, is not available to Americans. Instead it is available to those who wish to give it to people from other nations...or people who actually are from other nations. They get to have a rally on OUR National Mall. The National Mall that contains the WWII Monument that was closed to OUR veterans last week.

I think a blood vessel just burst in my head.
