January 15th – A federal judge has ruled Oklahoma’s same-sex marriage ban as unconstitutional. The same thing happened less than a month ago in Utah. U.S. District Court Judge Terence Kern: "Exclusion of just one class of citizens from receiving a marriage license based upon the perceived 'threat' they pose to the marital institution is, at bottom, an arbitrary exclusion based upon the majority's disapproval of the defined class." Enough with this “exclusion of just one class... of citizens” malarkey. Judge Kern, are not those believers of polygamy “one class of citizens?” Are not fathers who love daughters, mothers who love sons & brothers who love sisters “classes of citizens?” Are not pet owners who love their pets a “class of citizens?” Do all of them deserve the right to be married under “equal protection” as well? In 2004, OK voters overwhelmingly passed the gay marriage ban by 3 to 1. Activist fed judges like Kern need to butt out and LET THE STATES DECIDE! P
