January 5th – Mitt Romney today graciously accepted Melissa Harris Perry’s apology. Classy, now we need candidates who would respond more like this: “Melissa, the NY Times ran an article yesterday that begins with: ‘To many Americans, the war on poverty declared 50 years ago by President Lyndon B. Johnson has largely failed.’ In Ronald Kessler’s book ‘Inside the White House’ LBJ is quoted saying this to two governors: ‘I'll have those n***ers voting Democratic for the next 20...0 years.’ Truly despicable, but since then blacks have indeed voted over 90% for Dems. I will accept your apology but only if MSNBC airs programs on these 3 topics: 1) Why Democrats like President Obama are against school choice. 2) Why since LBJ black out-of-wedlock births have risen from 1 in 4 to 3 in 4. & 3) Why also since LBJ, cities like Detroit would be far better off today had they been led by conservative, pro growth mayors & fiscally responsible city councils. My grandson will be fine Melissa, ‘bout time you libs took responsibility for causing the problems facing blacks today.”
