This action yesterday was thoroughly infuriating and is wrong on so many levels it isn't even funny.

The IRS is a federal agency, ie: funded by taxpayer dollars. It exists to serve us - the American people. This woman was head of that federal gov't agency, ie: her salary was/is paid by we the taxpayers as well. She was called upon for questioning by our representatives, also paid by us. And then used constitutional privilege to keep from answering questions about how we, th...e ones footing the bills, may have or may not have been treated by our own agency.

Is everything upside down right now? We were told there isn't a smidgen of corruption going on anywhere. Really? Then why invoke the 5th & flatly refuse to answer even very basic questions?

As a guy who's the head of an organization that filed for 501(c)3 status in October of 2012(!!) & is still awaiting on action by that agency I'm personally a victim of blatant IRS stone-walling of an application I worked very, very, very hard on for many months. I take Ms. Lerner's refusal to testify as a personal slap in the face. All I'm trying to do is exercise my rights to participate in this nation where government operates with the consent of the governed. My own government is preventing me from doing that very thing, & then refusing to explain to me why.

This stinks to high heaven.
