The US Supreme Court just voted to uphold the Obamacare subsidies and of course the punditry is about to begin. Folks are already claiming a big victory for the Obama administration -- not so fast my friend. It's actually a bigger political victory for the GOP because the White House will not be able to attack them and leverage this as a political issue -- had the ruling gone the opposite way. The prevailing fact is that health insurance premiums will be increasing to as much as 40% in some states -- another broken promise of President Obama -- so I suppose the American people will be needing those subsidies. Sadly, there will be those of us who will have to assume those costs -- and we don't get a "get out of jail free" card
