January 9th – The media may have to select another moderate Republican to be their favorite candidate. E-mails implicate aides of NJ Governor Chris Christie of, for political purposes, closing some lanes on the George Washington Bridge. Christie at a news conference today: “I had nothing to do with this.” Nice and clean, if he’s proved to be lying he’s toast. Knowing Christie’s positions on several key issues don’t think many conservatives are losing much sleep. That said, he...re’s what Christie didn’t do today: 1) Didn’t ask: “What difference does it make?” 2) Didn’t promote Bridget “time for some traffic problems” Kelly for lying, unlike O with Susan Rice. 3) Didn’t hide from the press, taking questions for over 90 minutes. & 4) Didn’t blame it on a video of “The Sopranos.” Final Scoreboard: Benghazi, DOJ, IRS, NSA & Obamacare – No firings. Traffic cones on a bridge – 2 gone within 24 hours. Good start Governor, but if you’re not telling the truth just make it official and switch parties. Dems don’t chastise lying thugs, they applaud them. P
