Letter to the Editor
The New York Times...
Distributed on the Internet as no NYT editor would permit this response to appear in your newspaper.
Dear Editor:
"All the news that's fit to print" is your motto at the New York Times.
It is however a mockery of the lack of truth in your paper, a slap in the face about freedom of the press and a disgusting display in de jure victimology expertly on display by your editorial staff.
For 25 years, the Times has resorted to omission journalism and outright partisan reporting on everything Serbian. Your contempt for the facts and the truth pays tribute to the skills of Joseph Goebbels in 1941 who preached..."Tell a lie a hundred times and it becomes the truth."
In your contempt for the facts on Srebrenica your writers resort to half truths, disinformation, and outright fabrications. No where in your coverage have you written a single paragraph about Nasir Oric, a disgusting Muslim thug who used the "Safe-Haven" of Srebrenica for his nightly raids against Serbian villages that surrounded Srebrenica. He and his goon squads destroyed 32 Serbian villages and murdered 3,240 Serbian women and children by blowing up their homes and if anyone survived he captured them and decapitated them, retreating to the safety of the Srebrenica "Safe-Haven" and UN protection. Was that news unfit to print? Apparently so... Serbian soldiers were roasting on spits like animals...I sent Anthony Lewis and Bernard Gurtzman your Foreign Editor copies of these disgusting images and each one signed for the FedEx package I sent demanding a retraction...I was totally ignored and there was never any retraction.
Bill Schiller of the Toronto Star said he "had to sit in Oric's living room and watch his homemade video of himself committing these appalling war crimes...Schiller called the video, "Oric's Greatest Hits." Yet this war criminal walks free.
The New York Times has been the cheerleader for Muslim war criminals by applauding their victory over their Serbian victims. You have managed to show your real contempt for human rights by sweeping these war crimes under the nearest rug. Your sleazy level of yellow journalism is appalling. Russia was right to deny the New York Slimes and your fiction writers the spotlight of having the final say over Srebrenica. If Genocide is measured by the killing of 7,000 Muslim men and boys then what does the Times consider the 1.2 million Serbian refugees, the destruction of over 450 Serbian Christian churches and the bombing of 200 Serbian schools, 11 hospitals, 7 nursing homes and $89 Billion dollars in damage done to Serbia in violation of the UN Charter, The NATO Treaty, The Helsinki Final Act and the Geneva Conventions that your writing staff simply ignores? The UN Resolution should have been against the United States for their participation in these Balkan war crimes.
Shame on the New York Slimes for your contempt for honest journalism.
Wm. Dorich, Beverly Hills
The writer is the author of 6 books on Balkan history and a double victim of Balkan Genocide. He lost 17 relatives burned to death in 1942 when 97 Serbians were locked in their church in Vojnic, Croatia and burned to the ground and the last 5 relatives of his name who were too old and too sick to flee "Operation Storm in 1995 when 230,000 Serbs were ethnically cleansed from Croatia. A war crime aided and abetted by the US State Department and Pentagon who secretly armed and trained the Croatians and the Bosnian Muslims. Their crimes make Srebrenica pale in comparison

Oh if only people would seek the truth. Well written Mr William Dorich!
