Liberalism will just NEVER learn.
Scranton, PA - which proudly proclaims right on it's city website, "Pennsylvania's Progressive City", is soon to go the way of Detroit. Liberal democrat mayor, liberal democrat city council (a council which, btw, just approved a PAY INCREASE for the mayor.) Its Detroit, light. Residents fleeing, thus dwindling the tax base, and so in its efforts to keep up with the bills the city just keeps adding ...and raising taxes on the remaining residents, hence driving more of them out. Its a cycle that's been seen in Gary, Detroit, Stockton, Greece,...these people simply do not learn.
