Having been called one pretty much everyday of my life for the past few years, I'm well qualified to speak on the topic of 'sellouts.' So I figured it was time to point out a couple of "real" sellouts, and more ...thoroughly examine the term.
The gentleman in this photograph & his carbon clone Al Sharpton, have the nerve to place the word “Reverend” in front of their given names. And they have sold out more than C.L. Bryant, Starr Parker, Clarence Thomas, Alan West, J. C. Watts, Kevin Jackson or myself could ever dream. For they have sold out the very one they once called “King of Kings” in exchange for the favor of men. Now THAT’S a sellout.
These “reverends” have completely looked away from the 139th Psalm. From the book they claim to believe to be divinely inspired, and steadfastly supported the position of a political party that is wholly devoted the aborting the unborn. They are participants in the literal blood money of innocents, as the tissues of the children of the very people whom they claim to love, represent and lookout for – gets SOLD to the highest bidder for use in ‘stem cell research’ which was (re)federally funded by President Obama. Ever see "Hotel Rwanda"? In any other nation on earth what's happening to black babies in the U.S. would be called a genocide.
These ‘reverends’ choose to completely ignore the first chapter of the book of Romans, taken from the very book they publicly claim to believe is divinely inspired, & instead endorse the policies (of a political party which has handsomely lined their pockets) by endorsing homosexual marriage.
These men have sold out Almighty God as well as their communities, in exchange for high-roller parties, private jets and the lavish lifestyle that comes with being tightly associated with political power brokers. They are “useful idiots.”
Over the the past four decades no one has delivered more votes to the democrat party than these two. Yet in their attempts to earn their party’s nomination for president neither has EVER rec’d an appreciable percent of delegate votes in primaries. Neither has EVER been offered a spot as Vice President on a democrat ticket. Neither has EVER been offered a cabinet seat by a sitting democrat in the White House. Neither has EVER been offered so much as an Ambassadorship by a sitting democrat president.
Yet these sellouts solider on. Doing their expected duty for their democrat masters, turning their backs on the God they claim to believe in and the communities they claim to represent.
As for the individuals on this Facebook who post and/or email calling us sellouts –or other variations of the same theme- for not supporting President Obama; Obama has overseen an administration that’s added $6+ trillion of debt onto our children’s backs; doubled black unemployment compared to white; doubled black home foreclosures compared to white; has fought school-choice for black families trapped in failing inner-city school systems; rammed through a healthcare law that forces black families to purchase insurance whether they can afford it or not; has more black families on federal assistance than at any point in our nation’s history; has more black families living beneath the poverty line than at any point in our nation’s history; has granted citizen status to people in this nation illegally who compete for & take jobs away from blacks; has stripped finances, power & influence away from our churches and given it to government.
Yet for not supporting the continuation of these realities - you call us sellouts. We are somehow ‘not black’ because we don’t favor the continuation of these policies.
Well, my friends, you have it backwards. YOU are the ones selling out the black community by insisting on supporting his policy agenda – simply because he is black, because he is a democrat, or both. You’ve been bought and sold, and don’t even know it.
