Christian Mission Closes Due to Persecution in India

A Gospel for Asia Bridget of Hope center in India was forced to close amidst death threats and mob violence in mid-November. On November 16, a mob of more than 300 people proteste...d the existence of the Christian mission in their area and called for the center to close as soon as possible. After the center didn't close immediately, the mob returned bearing weapons threatening to take the lives of the center workers. This marks another escalation in anti-Christian sentiment in India.
