Slowly implementing Tyranny
before we were even born
“If, in the opinion of the people, the distribution or
modification of the constitutional powers be in any particular wrong, let it be
corrected by an amendment in the way which the Constitution designates. But let
there be no change by usurpations; for though this, in one instance, may be the
instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are
destroyed.” George Washington
Our Constitution wisely provided us the means to change our
Constitution anytime we please via the admittedly arduous Amendment
Process. Unfortunately for some our
amendment process designed to reveal the true intention(s) of a proposed
amendment.
Starting around one hundred years ago people such as Woodrow
Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt decided they could stealthy usurp not only our
Constitution but the Three Separate Branches of Government as well. For the
sake of argument we’ll assume they had our best interests in mind and heart.
The first order of business was to begin constructing a
federal bureaucracy whereby the agencies would have the three branches of
government under one roof. In other
words Dr. Frankenstein has succeeded in his experiment but he created a
monster.
I look at this and reflect upon the above quote by George
Washington and am reminded that it matters not what their intentions are
however benevolent - it still equals usurpation of the Constitution.
Our monster is the federal agencies having all three
branches of government under one roof and being turned loose on “We the
People”. If you’re like me having been born seeing the agencies operate in this
manner it was just how things are done.
I contend and I think you will see this is Tyranny plain and simple and
it needs to be changed now.
In some cases the people behind this have Tyranny in mind
but in most cases I think it is of political convenience. The politicians have learned that using
agencies to get the job done affords them the “Pontus Pilate” approach of
washing their hands of it. The agencies did it not me/us even though me/us has
either designed it this way or abided by it.
In any event they are not upholding their sworn e duty to
defend the Constitution. I would further maintain they never intended to from
the start and further contend they don’t know the Constitution to begin with.
Today we will begin our 100 year journey and learn how the powers to be
accomplished so much under the radar.
This will not be a message of doom but rather a call to
action and the means “We the People” have of taking our country back. I am not
an optimistic person but I do think we will rise up and restore our
Constitution and the Three Branches of Government soon.
