The World According to the Southern Poverty Law Center

You "gotta" hand it to them, the Southern Poverty Law Center and CNN had to begin salivating when they found that they “might-could” lay the blame on the current massacre of two Las Vegas policemen on the “patriot” movement. Suggesting that “right wing” anti-government “extremists” were responsible for a war on government and in particular policemen. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center:
“The antigovernment “Patri...ot” movement has experienced a resurgence, growing quickly since 2008, when President Obama was elected to office. Factors fueling the antigovernment movement in recent years include changing demographics driven by immigration, the struggling economy and the election of the first African-American president. In 2012, the Southern Poverty Law Center identified 1,274 anti-government “Patriot” groups that were active the prior year. Of these groups, 334 were militias and the remainder includes “common-law” courts, publishers, ministries and citizens’ groups.”

They even invoked the name of Cliven Bundy and suggested that these “Patriots” are always seeking a way in which to invoke or provoke “war” against the government. "

I am curious as to how strongly they "investigate" any other people...... or groups..... I suspect that answer would be "very little to not at all".

I normally try not to watch Wolef Blitzer for any reason but sometimes it is instructive to listen to those who you have little to no respect for.

I have no understanding of why this couple did what they did, however, I am certain that they have no ties to the hardworking conservatives that I view as “Patriots”.

It is often the case that people with sick ideas and warped minds (such as this couple, Wolfe Blitzer and the Southern Poverty Law Center) tend to “find” each other and carry out their own version of “reality”. That includes, the decidedly “left wing” Rodgers family whose son recently massacred his room-mates and then students at his university. Oh, that was blamed on the guns……. Even though knives and a car were used as well.
And you know the story of the “evil guns” …… they are “right wing” Patriot stuff also…
