The Real War on Women

Today in America we hear the democrats accuse the republicans of a war on women because of birth control and abortion. It sickens me to my stomach that anyone could accuse anyone in America of something as atrocious as a war on women, when the truth lies on the other side of the world. Where is the true outrage of the women’s rights movements on this subject? As a woman I find all of them cowards to ever think that you could use a term “war on women” about abortion and a pill when little girls are being killed daily. The media hypes it up to the point where women in America think its happening. What happened to the true values of women in this country? They have gone by the way side and we have become nothing but pons in a scheme between political parties to use as they will against each other. So today we’re going to talk about the Real War on Women.

We are going to start with the babies.  The rate babies are being born in China, India, Pakistan and other countries, and the genocide of them being killed just because they are girls; they don’t want girls because they feel they are a lower class, they only want to produce boys. The women are forced to take a sex determination test to determine the sex of the baby, if the baby is a female it is aborted, and if they have the child or are too poor to get the test then they kill the child. There is 200 million missing baby girls because of genocide in these countries and yet we don’t hear anything about it. I listened to a woman who murdered 8 of her daughters and showed where she buries them because she wanted boys; and yet here in America you still think the war on women is about birth control and abortion? How sad is that.

An Imam came out and pronounced that you can marry a 2 year old girl, if that is not a war on women that I don’t know what is, I couldn’t imagine my daughter at the age of 2 being taken from me and given in marriage to a 30 year old man who is able to have sex with her, that is the most revolting thing I have ever heard in my life. Iran’s president announced that you can marry a girl under the age of 10, again who in their right mind would want to marry a 10 year old little girl? Better yet, a mother tells her daughter that they are attending a party. This is what they tell little girls. The truth is that it isn`t a party but a brutal circumcision to remove the clitoris. An absolute betrayal of a mother to her daughter. This is sickening me to the core of who I am and women around the world should be outraged, but where are those liberal groups? OH I know they are sitting in Hollywood trying to figure out why republicans have a war on the birth control and why they hate woman so much.

Sex trafficking of girls who have been kicked out of orphanages at the age of 16, or families from little villages allow their daughters to go to the big cities to be an indentured servant and it turns out to be in the sex trade, and this is happening from Thailand to Russia. All these little girls being used and abused like garbage and yet there is no outrage for this either. We aren’t even talking about the physical damage, but about the mental damage, where do they go when they have been used and are not wanted anymore? The shame of going home is too much so they stay in the sex trafficking business. Where is your outrage?  I don’t hear anyone coming to the rescue of these girls.

What about the beating of women who are married to a Muslim? They can be beaten publicly with a cane for any reason they want and yet you see this over and over. A woman can be publicly stoned because the husband wants a younger wife or he’s tired of her.  A man can have a woman stoned for whatever reason he deems to her death. What about honor killings? This is when a family member can just kill a girl for no reason other than the simple reason of not celebrating a holiday, or wearing the wrong clothing, or for saying the wrong things.   A father can chop off his daughters head and parade it around the village and no one cares. But the worst of these crimes comes now.

Acid, it’s one of the most horrendous things you could do to a woman.  To throw acid into a woman’s face, changing her appearance for the rest of her life. This is a way for the man to make sure that his wife, or the girl he wants to marry that doesn’t want to marry him will never be with another man because they are scared for the rest of their life. They cannot work, they cannot marry, nor can they go back to their families. It is such a dishonor that these women are left with such a painful scar that the only thing they can do is beg for money on the streets to feed themselves.   As a burn survivor I know the pain and anguish they feel being burned. I know what it feels like to be scorned and laughed at because of your scars. I know what it feels like when men don’t want to be near you because of your scars as if the scars were a contagious disease. It is one of the hardest thing to live with and yet these women have no choice, there is no going back for them, only forward with some life. Surgeries can only do so much.  If the acid gets into the eyes the sight is lost.  If the acid gets into the throat, the person may or may not be able to speak.  If the acid gets in the hair, there is no hair. This is one of the most unspeakable things one human can do to another and yet this happens every day. To me as a woman this is the real war on women.  But, here in this country called America we think it’s about birth control and abortion.  How pitiful for the women of this country, how ungrateful they are to take this life for granted, how ashamed I am of these women because they don’t see the reality of others pain sacrifice to bring them this freedom that is so abused.
