March 22nd – The schools won’t do it so Rush Limbaugh is giving children a proud and unapologetic look at American history. And to the dismay of Rush bashers everywhere, kids are loving it! His first book, “Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrim...s: Time-Travel Adventures with Exceptional Americans,” immediately skyrocketed to the top of the NY Times Bestsellers List. His second, “Rush Revere and the First Patriots,” has done exactly the same. That’s bad enough for libs, but adding insult to injury the Children’s Book Council has announced Limbaugh is a finalist for Children’s Book Author of the Year. The best part is that it’s the kids who vote. But that’s not stopping many on the left from screaming “Unfair!” because of Limbaugh’s existing fan base. Boo Hoo! The books are well researched, funny and heaven forbid, patriotic. As one commenter put it: “Rush may wind up doing a better job educating America's youth on the history of this country than billions of dollars spent through the so called Department of Education ever have.” “Mega-Dittos” to that!
