North Vietnams “Land Reform”, from 1953 to 1956, was nothing less than class warfare disguised as “fairness” and equality.
The aim of the land reform program was to form a new class of leaders, redistribute the wealth and create a new cla...ss that had no ownership. A collective society.
All would be equal.
It was the driving element of the Communist revolution.
But as usual, this Socialist utopian dream, again , ended up with the murder and torture of hundreds of thousands of its own innocent citizens.

(Of course, Jane Fonda never mentioned that one)

Quote:

“The land reform was a massacre of innocent, honest people, and using contemporary terms we must say that it was a genocide triggered by class discrimination,”
- Former Hanoi government official Nguyen Minh Can

Ho Chi Minh massacred his countrymen by the thousands in a Soviet-style 'land reform' campaign. In November 1956, when peasants in his home province protested, some 6,000 were murdered in cold blood. With such actions, Ho proved he was a worthy contemporary of Lenin, Stalin and Mao Tse-tung, who had also built their empires with the blood of their countrymen.
- Charles E. Kirkpatrick

Estimates of those killed by Ho Chi Minh’s Vietnamese Communist Party, range from 200,000 to 900,000. Thousands of others, most of them rich farmers and land owners, were sent to concentration camps for
( are you ready?)
“Re-education.”

Hundreds of thousands of those murdered were actually poor peasants. Approximately 60,000 of those killed were actually Communist party members.

This just shows, again, that once the class persecution, murder, torture, and “re-education” gets started, no citizen is safe.

You just gotta LOVE those peaceful Socialists!
( I guess you could call these “collective murders”)

( as with all closed Socialist / Communist governments, the true death count will never be known)

According to Writer Tran Manh Hao , the Socialists wanted the land owners
“dug to the core and destroyed to the root.”
“I saw the extreme horror, and I wondered what kind of regime this was, that had no other method than to repress and annihilate people..
It took them to “people’s courts” and shot them on the scene without a fair trial and even without any evidence.”
“The land reform campaign was a crime of genocide like that of Pol Pot,” Hao said.

Here’s a video:

Here’s an example:

Tran Kim Anh’s father, uncle, and grandfather were all staunch supporters of the revolution in the northern province of Thai Binh.
They belonged to the National People’s Party, which became a designated enemy organization during the land reform period.
“My father was determined to deny his being a member of the National People’s Party. He was then tortured by having his two toes tied by two ropes that hung him to the ceiling. The ropes were pulled up. This hurt him badly, so he cried hard and asked them to pull down the ropes. Down he was pulled. However, he still cried wildly due to his great pain. They then stuffed cloth into his mouth,” Anh said.

( There are other examples that are too gruesome to print)

I just have to wonder.
What did the torture of this man do to help create the wanted Socialist society ?
How did his agony further Communism?
The answer?
Terror !
Terrorize the population into compliance.

Here’s Former Hanoi government official Nguyen Minh Can again:

”Little is now said or written on this period of intensive mass killing in Vietnam’s history… There hasn’t been any official proclamation that the policy aimed at provoking hatred out of differences in social classes was not a right one.”

Class warfare!

Tax the evil rich business man into oblivion.
Redistribute his wealth.
It’s all his fault.
Hatred, envy, lies and coveting.
You can hear and see it in America today.

Socialist / Communist thought in America?
Oh yes !

This is just another horrendous story, to go along with all the others, that shows the TRUE face of Socialism/Communism.
The faces change,
The countries change,
The years change.
But Socialism and Communism?
It Never changes!
It Never will !
“Know the History
